I thought Montale is only well-known for its Oud perfume......didn't know about the sea.
*
I made few sampling on Montale lines few years back.
The only impress me are Intense Cafe, Black Oud and Red Oud...

Agreed on other members comment. This line we need to sampling first...
Not very secure for a blind buy since they are monster in term of sillage, projection and longevity.
Some of them might choke you just with 1 spray only sweat.gif

Honestly speaking, you, astroboy, marver and izam7 (angie, leena and joey) are sifu in your own right too.

What I know is peanut compares with those in #FFF. Just trying to contribute a little of what I know to this local fraghead community of ours.
*
wow....
I feel very terharu to see my name inside the sifus list wink.gif
although i joined this thread since long time ago during bro Johnny, mrbs84, kelthuzad and many other sifus era,
my technical knowledge in perfumery still at the beginner~intermediate level compare to all of you doh.gif

Fortunately this hobby i started during my time at Uni still stay alive until now, although after 9 years of working thumbup.gif

Yes they do carry Oud Ispahan.

Last year it was only RM720+ during the roadshow... I wouldn't be surprise if they increase the price again next year. It's like an annual plan for them lol... laugh.gif  doh.gif
*
bro, is feve delicieuse also available?
the rm720 should be for 120ml bottle right?

yup...pretty bz lately...first time welcoming the new
family members smile.gif
no new haul bought from China as the fragrances
price there quite expensive even at Guangzhou airport sad.gif

i knew about their new release.
have tried all samples from their lines...
only very few have impressed me; falling into the sea
and a city on fire.
my advice, don't ever buy or even try their Bull Blood.
i got it FOC including few other more samples (free from Josh Meyer) which made me nearly vomit and nausea.
the bull blood scent is very strong and disgusting!!!!

What's your opinion about SL Chergui? Is it okay for me to just blind buy this frag?

BTW, is there anyone selling decant of TF Tobacco vanille here? The decant i bought from izam already finished, and i cant find anyone selling it in this lowyat forum, lelong or mudah..

Asking here 1st before deciding whether to buy the decant from ebay. i know i'm very late to the party, but i love the smell very much since smelling it for the 1st time.. lol

Haha, not in the mood of shooting anything like that now.

Thanks for the smart watch suggestions. I prefer the more traditional rounded watch, which I believe only Motorola has it in the market right now. I think we should stop now before this thread turns into rojak.

QUOTE(t0n3 @ Dec 31 2015, 12:25 PM)
With 2016 is just less than 12 hours away from now, it's time to sit down and ponder what we have achieved this year, fragrance-wise of course. Looking at myself back in 2011 when I first started my fragrance journey, I was very much an aquatic person. That year has seen me purchasing Cool Water Summer Dive by Davidoff, Acqua Di Gio by Giorgio Armani, L'Eau D'Issey by Issey Miyake, etc.

In 2012, it continued the trend of aquatics and with introduction of some heavier fragrances like Black by Mandarina Duck, Platinum Egoiste by Chanel, Le Male by JPG, etc. but one fragrance forever changed the way I looked at fragrances and paved the path of what my taste is today and that is Prada Amber Pour Homme. It was nothing I had smelt before and quite unique even to this day. I fell head over heels for it and even bought the shower gel to complement the wearing. It had become my favorite that year.

2013 had been a year of heavy fragrances for me with purchases of Narciso Rodriguez For Him Musc Collection, Encre Noire by Lalique, A*Men, LIDGE, etc. During that year, one fragrance got me into amber and that is Ambre Sultan by Serge Lutens. Purchase of amber fragrances continued with Opus VI by Amouage and 24 Gold by ScentStory. Ambre Sultan had become my favorite that year and still is my holy grail of amber even though I have tried all the amber fragrances I could get my hands on.

In 2014, it expanded beyond amber and into other resins particularly incense, frankincense, myrrh and oppononax. I guess some of you may know that 2014 had been a Tauer year for me together with Churchy incense. That same year also marked the beginning of animalic year that was to come with purchases of Labdanum 18 by Le Labo and Musc Ravageur by Frederic Malle.

Finally, 2015. My taste has grown to a whole new level this year with even more animalic fragrance purchases plus some classics and vintages. I foresee my interest for this genre will continue on to the new year and years to come. That said, what better way to wrap up my 2015 than to wear my most favorite animalic fragrance in my collection - Musc Tonkin by PdE. I have not smelt the real deer musk but some say this is close to the real thing. Happy new year to all my fellow fragheads.

I'm totally agreed on your above evolution tongue.gif
From the safe fragrances your taste slowly went into the darker, stronger, incense and animalic one... thumbup.gif

anyone tried nautica voyage? what u guys think about it
*
I've tried it last year..
in fact I do own a bottle due to the positive review and hype on it...

I do like it but the dry down is seem quite boring to me...
I'm not sure it is because of my nose already too expose with other high end scents...

It is very fresh, aquatic vibe...for suitable for young user or secondary school student.
kinda safe scent for me... can be wear anytime and anyway...
some people might use it as their signature scents...
I don't really like it due to it's generic/alcoholic vibe...

And don't forget it is very cheap but still good quality rclxms.gif
P/S: Last time I got it via FragEx for RM70 only for 100ml.
