anyway my thoughts of exploring further into this house is dashed when my finance minister say one short sentence:" dear, dont abuse the 1 bottle per 6 mths quota"

Tell me about it. Not only the perfume, but others as well such as shoes, cufflinks, tailored suits, leather goods etc but the trick is this: keep those 'beyond-quota' thingy in the office. It works for me.

Congratulation on your haul bro! May I know where you got it?
One of them I tried smelled like 24 Gold but not sure if it was Kalemat though.
*
Thanks bro. I got it from Hong Kong.

SOTD - Vera Wang for Men.

OK I admit I bought it mainly due to its simplicity in packaging.

Yeah, don't worry about walking out of the door empty handed. I always does that. My experience with them had been pleasant so far, be it local or overseas retail stores.

I probably would go semi-retired mode after one last FB haul. Thinking to get either Knize Ten, Cuir Cannage or Mona di Orio Cuir. I have not been wearing any perfume for the past one week as my wife has just given birth to a baby boy. I don't wanna wear any scent near my precious.

Congrats to you bro for becoming a father!!

I haven't tried those you mentioned but I have tried some from Arabian Oud. From what I read, none of the commercial perfumes use real oud because it's extremely expensive. Real oud is animalic but of course perfumer can add some animalic notes with synthetic oud to make it smell like the real deal. You can read more about it here :-
- http://perfumeshrine.blogspot.my/2009/12/p...odagarwood.html

It is said that there is a small amount of the real oud used in Oud by Mona di Orio. Some companies do that. Like the case of Jasmine used by Chanel. Only a small amount of the real thing is used on top of Jasmine aroma compound to make it smell more natural.

I have tried Oud by Mona di Orio a few years ago when I was in Singapore. I quite like it.

Or another option will be Oud by MFK.

Long time no see bro! How's life treating you?

Where can I find MdO in SG? It's not listed in here :-

I'm wearing their Cuir today.

Hi bro, indeed it has been a while. Life has been good. I hope the same goes to you.

I sampled the Mona di Orio at the Hide & Seek in Kampong Glam, Singapore. Unfortunately it has closed down permanently.

Quite sad to see a shop with so much character and personality disappeared. They not only carried niche perfume like your favorite Tauer, Histoires de Parfum, Etat Libre D'orange, Humiecki & Graef, Huitieme Art Parfums, they also carried eyewear by House of Holland and Ksubi, as well house furniture.

If case you are interested to know, the Mona di Orio was selling at SGD 340 at that time.

I really hope they will make a come back soon.

Ah Hide & Seek. Lucky you. I never got the chance to visit it. It was already closed when I got there a few years ago.

It was indeed sad to see it to close down. That area, Kampong Glam is quite an enjoyable place to visit, and to have a cup of coffee watching ppl passing-by.

I just missed the Montale Embruns in Daily Specials. I was thinking of getting it together with the Truefitt & Hill cleansing scrub to save on shipping.

Anyone owned a Bvlgari Man Extreme EDT facing a spray pump issue?

I noticed the spray pump from mine emits a 'jet' rather than a 'mist' when pressed, unlike other perfumes. It feels like its spraying the perfume rather than the standard 'cloud mist'.

Was thinking if its normal or the spray pump is faulty?

You can just send it back for a replacement.

First time buying from FragX by myself, after few weeks of thinking because of some bad review, afraid my money will be gone just like that. Happen before when I join buy with 1 forumer from FragX too, money gone, he also gone.

I thought the shipping fees is free, and no VAT charges. But, just YOLO. Hopefully I'll get the things. This time use paypal, if item didnt reach, can try ask for refund, maybe.

I sampled the Amouage at Isetan KLCC and gotten myself a few samples from the SA with one being the Lyric. Love it to the max.

I didn't apply any promo code I don't even know one. They just email me 5 minutes ago stated my order just finish packaging and will be send using DHL. I'm not sure I should worry or what.  sweat.gif  I really hope this time the order will reach me, 2 or 3 weeks also would be okay.
Did you get one after that? My problem is I am not comfortable sampling without buying a bottle, but if the price different is too much I might as well grab a bottle elsewhere(online or whatever). Are their SA okay? I just order a lyric man decant from a forumer here. But would like to try their other collection too.
*
No in the end I didn't get any bottle from them. I got about 4 samples from the SA.

3 sprays every single day, last around one year for me
but also depends on the atomizer la
e.g dior or creed atomizer spray out a lot more juice in one spray

average 1ml is around 12 sprays
so 100ml=1200 sprays
1200 sprays/3=400 days
*
I did this experiment before about 12 years ago to see how long can a 100ml bottle lasts me.

Exactly 1 year. 3 sprays. Daily.

And I was so sick with the same smell for one year.
