The Aqua flanker is released this year but the original Invictus is first released in 2013. I'm sorry to say yours is most probably fake. On top of that, Paco Rabanne is not distributed under P&G. You can refer it here :-
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Proct...6_Gamble_brands

That's why I don't buy from some random online sellers except the ones I trust and stick to them. ethusis (from LYN) is one of them together with our regular fraghead bro marver as mentioned. Online sites I used are :-
- http://my.bestbuy-world.com/
- http://www.fragrancex.com/
- http://www.theperfumeshoppe.com/Default.asp

You can also try ebay but always check the seller's rating first.

Happy shopping!

Hey bro, notice you got recommend for http://www.fragrancex.com.
Do you have any experience buying from them, can share your experience?

Got go through this website before but seem like they will shipped to Malaysia internationally.
Just wanna know is it simple and safe, i.e. just brought online and wait for the parcel to arrived?
or need to go through those messy procedure when the parcel arrived to Malaysia, ie. get hold by those authority and then need to write letter/pay those tax to let go.

Got heard lot of buyer who brought fragrance from oversea having this experience before.
Thanks in advance.

Disclaimer :

Nowadays Customs are always aiming parcels that contains perfume / supplement and so forth.

Best to avoid getting from overseas unless you are willing to deal with the hassle.

Heard that DHL's agents are pretty efficient so you might not have a severe headache if your parcel got stopped by them biggrin.gif

As I bought from FragranceX before , I can tell you that it is "just brought online and wait for the parcel to arrived" .

If you buy more than RM1K , Pay with your usual Paypal (first time you might get blocked , wait for a call from your card issuer and say it is legit, then they will unblock you)
payment went thru and just look at the DHL tracking that they send to you.

Normally nothing happen in the first 5-6 days (it sits at the warehouse because US side flag it as a danger item) , then it will travel to HK, then KL then to wherever your city/town is ,
then it will sit there again , for 1 week or 1.5 week , then when you see clearance process complete , DHL will call you. You will pay the GST and a RM50 clearance fee. DHL will do everything for you ; signature of deputy director of Pharmacy, the legwork, until the parcel is cleared.

Depending on the state(Penang is the worst as bro Maxtorxxx informed) , you might or might not get a warning letter from Dept of Health, in Sarawak it went thru okey.

My parcel took 18 days . and the actual travel from US to KL took only 5 days, the rest is waiting for customs both sides .

Then again ,I heard that if you buy from them around 70usd (which is RM280) , use code "free69" then they will ship it using USPS and all this DHL hassle would be avoided. You will get it via POS malaysia.

Hi guys. Im searching for Givenchy Pi, but the shops that I went to all said out of stock or they only have the big bottle one.

Is there any place in KL/Selangor where I can buy a 100ml bottle?

Thanks in advance.

Majority of my fragrances in my collection were bought from the online sites I've listed. Never had any problem (touch wood) except received warning notice twice from Malaysian Department of Pharmacy and all were on fragranceX orders. My last purchase with fragranceX was on Sahara Noir by Tom Ford (under RM400) on July 2015 and had no problem. Having said that, I live in Sarawak and maybe Sarawak govt officials are more lenient?

SOTD - Ambra by Santa Maria Novella
Really, the star of the show here is birch tar despite what the name says. The labdanum amber only reveals itself towards the dry down. I fell in love with this the first time I smelled a sample. I discovered my love for birch tar through this and subsequently bought Lonestar Memories by Tauer Perfumes. Projection is beast mode for this EdC and longevity is just average (expected from an EdC). Ambra is first made in the 19th century, one of the oldest creations from the house. In case you haven't really know, SMN is one of the oldest pharmacies that is still in existence today. You can read about Kafkaesque's glowing review on Ambra here :-

SOTD - L`Air de Rien by Miller Harris
This one's probably the most controversial and only standout unique scent from the house for me. Smells of dusty old books and libraries plus salty human skin. You can read about Vogue UK's article on this scent here :-

I have had bad experience with Customs/Pharmacy dept in Sarawak some mths ago. Parcel withheld & only released after few calls & a appeal letter. hey told me its last warning for me as they have my record in their system ( i was served notice of warning 2 times previously). I wont / cant order from Fragx anymore. I dont think DHL cant help to get the release...i wouldnt mind paying them clearance fee if they can do it. Oh yea, the delivery mode of DHL vs USPS seems to be random system-generated....i requested FragX to use USPS for my order but they say cannot so its no more for me.

SOTD - Essenza di Colonia by Acqua di Parma
Wearing this again today I finally get the neroli once the muskiness subsides. A little soapy but not to the extend of Prada Amber PH. A classic masculine scent perfect for hot humid day/evening.

Hi guys, new here and completely clueless about fragrance. I'm looking for a versatile perfume that is suitable for most occasion and need some suggestions.

Went Sephora today for some test and turns out i really liked below particular scents.

- Christine Dior Sauvage (Loved this but way too expensive for my league as a beginner)
- Gucci Guilty Black (Raving bad ratings at fragrantica. Don't care much for those saying it smells synthetic as I liked it but am worried of the sillage and longevity as it seems pretty bad too)
- Versace Pour Homme (Looks like it has issues with longevity as well)

Can anyone suggest me an alternative that smells like the above but at a RM200/100ml range that has a good longevity that can last me a full day at work?

Otherwise i'll just have to choose between Gucci/Versace if there's no alternative as this 2 are within my budget range. I'm leaning towards Gucci here as it smells really fresh to me.

Thanks!

Don't expect fresh scent to last very long. 6 hours is considered good for me. If you like them, just get them. I don't think you can find any cheaper alternatives. You might wanna try L'eau D'Issey. That one lasted quite a while on my skin. Buying online is cheaper if you're on a budget :-

SOTD - Breath of God by Lush
Inspired by the fresh clean air of the mountains and the smoky scents from the Tibetan temples, this one smells as cool and medicinal as Salonpas. It has very good performance on my skin.

My first AdP from StrawberryNet has just arrived yesterday. All for under RM380 after huge discount. Added 4711 bar soap for free shipping and the Cool Water lotion is a free gift. This is a dressed-up flanker to the original Colonia. Oakmoss adds a matured dated vibe here. I don't get much citrus or neroli on top. It reminded me of fresher version of reformulated Kouros. This is my SOTD.

Congratulation on your new haul bro .. My goodness,I can see that even busy taking care your baby. You still couldn't put a stop on your passion in fragrances..
a pure frag-head... smile.gif
Is been some times when i last posted and sharing my new hunt!
Prefer the EDT version than the EDP as the scent stays longer on my skin & cloth. And the sillage is good.. Keeping me cool all the time and the projection was on par with most of my ADP Blue Mediterrano series which consider good for me. nod.gif

It's my first ever fragrance purchase and I can't justify the price. cry.gif

If i were to get it where can I get a better price? I seen one online @RM440/100ml bottle. Will it be cheaper at Parkson/Aeon? As i heard Chanel/Dior is cheaper in stores compared to online.

Don't expect to get Chanel fragrances cheaper other than from brick and mortar stores because it has tight distribution. The ones at grey market are either pricier or fake (if too cheap).

Having said that you can get Dior and Chanel slightly cheaper from my favorite M'sian online store, my.bestbuy-world.com. No, I'm in no way affiliated to them.

SOTD - Escape by CK
It was one of my signature scents when I first started wearing fragrances. Purchased my current bottle a few years ago for nostalgic purposes. It still smells and performs as good as the original I can only attribute it to higher % of aroma chemicals used.
