Does any of you wear Bleu de Chanel? It does has that smoky vibe to it, don't you think? I think it comes from the incense note. Correct me if I'm wrong.

While wearing it, have you ever had the impression that the smoky smell seems like cigarette smell? And if a non-smoker wears Bleu, would some people mistakenly think the person is a smoker?

Anyone tried kokorico by jean paul gaultier? Maybe need to blind buy. Cannot find one in store. Hope it smells like cocoa
I remember trying it many years ago but can't recall how it smells. Marver has a bottle of it. You can try to ask him or get a small decant from him.

Really? I wouldn't put tobacco smoke and incense smoke together.

I see. Because while sampling Bleu, I did thought it smelled a bit, just a tiny bit, like cigarette smoke

Haha..it not like that.i bought it using the birthday coupon
to me last time.
I can see the similarity with the ambre narguille in term of the sweetness.but Farah seem more complex, darker n spicier compared to the AN.
But i like it better than AN and of course the price is more cheaper than AN.
For me,it is a MUST have bottle for the gourmand lover like me smile.gif

Hello guys newbie here,

Just bought Gucci Intense Oud, anyone use this perfume? for me it more lasting compare to previous perfume such Davidoff The Brilliant Game and Hugo Boss. It can easily lasting 5 hours and smell good (still counting how long it may last on my body)

Anyone can suggest where can I get reasonable price for perfume? Getting it directly from mall is quite costly. Thank you

Hi sifus..

Need a suggestion. Which perfumes are really long lasting? I tried ck one, armani diamond, gucci pour homme sport, all last only 3 hours, after that only smells on my skin. Ck one even sucks, only 1 hour people can smell it on me. After that, only me myself can smell it on my skin.

I read through websites, they listed this perfumes below as a long lasting one.

Amen > le male > joop homme > ck obsession > dior home intense.

Due to limitation for me to try all this perfume, is this perfumes really long lasting?

Should i choose the smells i prefer or long lasting one? I like something smells like coffee, caramel or cinnamon. (Animale animale, givenchy play intense etc). Any long lasting perfume smells like the one i wanted?

I should get edp one.

Wear what your heart desires. Be it drugstore perfume or luxury niche. I wore Adidas Ice Dive to gym.

I'm wearing Guerlain's Jicky (EdT) today and sipping a cuppa earl grey.

Most website listed Amen as the most long lasting perfume. I want to get it. But only can find the edt version.

Is the long lasting Amen refers only to edp, not edt? Or the edt version also long lasting as the edp? Thanks.

Most of the long lasting perfume i found, mostly in edt version.

Joop homme also in edt. Obsession in edt. The one d&g, the edp version is quite hard to find. La nuit in le parfum version, but way too expensive for me. Over my budget

Perfumes if stored properly can last indefinitely but top notes may turn. Keep it away from direct sunlight, heat and maintain it at constant temperature. That's why storing it in wine chiller is not advisable unless you make decants while keeping the bottles in the chiller. I don't use a wine chiller. I can't afford a large one to fit all of my bottles.

You may be looking at older reviews there. Some of the perfumes are more than 10 years old that they bound to have been reformulated due to restrictions imposed by IFRA in recent years so they are not as strong as it used to be (unless you're buying a vintage). Blind buying is a risky business and I was a victim for some purchases in the past thinking they were powerhouses. Always sample current testers on the shelve first before making the decision.
