Good day. I would appreciate if someone can assist me on the issue below:

I just had a new desktop. I installed Dota 2 on windows 8.1, and for the first two days nothing happened. When I tried opening it yesterday, it showed the "Man's Face", followed by Valve's Logo, and lastly Dota2 logo and it auto shut downed. It did not show the Home Page of Dota 2.

I tried closing steam and reopening it, same problem occurred. I tried restarting the PC, and likewise, same problem occurred. Just out of curiosity, has anyone encountered this issue? And how did u manage to go about it?
