Just sharing additional buying option with good offer...

Qoo10.sg is selling Maxsoft bundle + 3 random amiibo at $590 (after applying $100 promo discount voucher). $590 x 3.155 = RM 1861.45. It's even cheaper if your credit cards give additional discount for online purchase.

You'll get official 1 year warranty directly from Maxsoft without going through MY vendor which charge RM100 fee (which creates possibility for some vendor to attempt local 3rd party minor repair first).

Anyway, this option is more suitable for people with friends or relative at SG or frequent traveler to SG.

Fellow gamers, I'm just sharing additional buying option. It could be helpful, particularly to anyone who has access to SG credit card and SG mailing address or choose self collect at vendor's shop.

About warranty. Most of the manufacturer of electrical appliances will have this T&C: Warranty is only valid if purchased from authorised retailer/reseller. You have to show proof of purchase when want to claim warranty. There's a possibility that Maxsoft may reject your claim if your proof of purchase is from MY (since there's no authorised distributor at MY). Therefore, you must go though the MY retailer which you bought the Switch from. I'm just saying a possibility.

Anyway, I'm just sharing an additional buying option as FYI. Up to anyone to consider and decide whether to buy.

if bringing over to custom will kena tax?

i plan to ship it to my relative house first then nxt week i go take, then either fly back from jb or sg. scare the custom wanna kaciao since its new electronics stuffs

If taking flight, you can claim back 7% GST once you reached a certain purchase amount if you're a tourist. You may google for more information.

The safest is don't bring along the retail box as suggested earlier by another formumer but there's always a workaround. Besides that, Malaysian tourist can import stuff from SG without MY custom tax at certain amount according to number nights stayed at SG.
