QUOTE(Chocobos @ Feb 27 2017, 08:37 AM) Good luck to those who wish to buy the Switch in Japan. Currently it's already sold out at all well known outlets. Maybe lesser known shops have stocks available but need to find those shops first. Do you think they'll have more stock by the 17th March? I'm going there then and planning to buy one for my 5 Y.O

QUOTE(RaymondT @ Mar 2 2017, 05:54 PM) She don't play games. She hates gaming but she saw I kept on watching Nintendo Switch video so she did some research and managed to preorder one for me. But so far she don't know I preordered one as well from Qisahn. Tomorrow picking up my gift at 6pm! I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering; is your wife single? Lol. I wish my wife so sporting. She even make noise if I buy gaming stuff using my own money.

I pulled the trigger on the HK Nintendo Switch sold by DirectD.
Now I'm wondering if I have to get an adapter for the plug in HK. Any sifus here had experience with overseas units?

QUOTE(kamikraze @ Mar 28 2017, 03:34 PM) console only or include 2 games? Console only but at least the price is the same for Neon and Grey. They also have ready stock. I checked like 10 stores in Sapporo all sold out so I'm in a trigger-happy mood, cost be damned.

QUOTE(greyshadow @ Mar 28 2017, 04:26 PM) Ouch!!! 2099 for the console only without any games IMO that's the scalper price Oh definitely scalper price I'm well aware lol. At least they will handle warranty without asking you to fork RM100

QUOTE(kamikraze @ Mar 28 2017, 04:02 PM) I see, it's good to see some ready stock, while many other shop got long waiting list for new stock. So since you got no game, going to get digital copy or? I'm thinking digital is better since can get cheaper e-shop bucks on the forum. Also read that Nintendo has account-wide tagging instead of console specific now? OTOH I won't easily be able to sell the games later on. Decision decisions..I've always been a PC gamer all this while and looking at the game prices O_O Shovel Knight was like RM30 on Steam IIRC..now have to fork out RM100 haha..

QUOTE(MattAces @ Mar 28 2017, 04:34 PM) Cheaper eshop bucks from who? If you're referring to the cheapest one in Lowyat, be careful and reconsider your purchase from him. Reviews for the game scored around 4.5 by destructoid, 6 by pocket gamer, ign and a few others i forgot, 7 from three sites and 8 from one site. Who will pull the trigger? Can explain more bro? I don't even have a Nintendo account yet. Bought the Switch mainly for Zelda and hoping to teach my 5 year old to play Mario Kart. He loved MK7 emulated on my PC so I thought the Switch would make a good proper first console.

QUOTE(MattAces @ Mar 28 2017, 04:39 PM) Well you can actually use any credit card on any eshop region, it will work fine. If you are buying top up card for Nintendo Credit, be careful of where you buy it from. Ah noted, I will probably test the water with small amount first. I much prefer using credit card straight without hassle of transferring money.
