charging tax for digital goods still need to follow their state law. if the state is tax-free, sony can't suddenly charge tax
anyway, US eshop always charge tax for those that set their zip code with tax-able state since dsi era iinm

If not you can purchase on Japan eshop. If not mistaken price stated is inclusive of tax. But make sure the game you buy is not Japanese language only unless you know how to read.

A little update not sure what happened, seems like second purchase they didn't ask for zip anymore. Hmmmm.....anybody tried buying from US eshop? Maybe I will try again later....thinking of buying Shovel Knight. If I buy I'll take screen shot. Or if anybody wants to buy from US eshop for the first time maybe can capture some screen shots? Would be helpful to others who wants to try.

you don't have to re-enter zip code every time you want to purchase stuff, except for few certain cases where they'll ask for it again. except that I can't really remember what's the trigger haha

then truegamers really eat the amiibo themselves and sell separately maybe

when did you preorder from them? haven't received update from them yet.

sad not to receive amiibo gifts from them, if its actually bundled from the distributor, since most of the resellers also provide amiibo freegifts, i would boycott truegamers next time.

the reason i ask this is i saw many seller have give free amiibo with various price. and also many singapore official nintendo reseller also give free amiibo for pre order customer. based on this it seem like whoever pre order the device bundle with 2 games should have free amiibo. may be i am wrong. it does seem weird.
in case the shop give by their own, not so many store do the same gua.

Our CC cannot be used in US eShop. However, you can use Canada one. They are same as US but our CC can go thru.

Just use Oregon state if you want tax free purchase.

May be you can contact them to ask see. May be more asking they will start feel different and suddenly release the free gift suppose to give pre order customer.

i think then its either free gift ideas from the distributor maxsoft since they force bundle with 2 games which are unusual.

however if its up to seller then its ok, but if all come with the amiibo free gifts and truegamers not giving them to preorder customer and keep it themselves for resale later then its not ethical

I pre-ordered from 11street and using coupon to further drove down the price I don't mind the free gift as I never collected any Since WiiU, 3DS and N3DSXL.

Nope, I didn't. I have collected too many Skylanders toys for PS3. Not interested in collecting more again. No place to keep these toys now.

I actually just ordered mine from 11street for 2007 bucks with shipping.

And I just fb pm them and the guy/girl told me that their stocks are only arriving tomorrow night. But will definitely ship out soon and will reach us by Monday or Tuesday.

I cancelled my qisahn order which was about 2150ringgit. I saved about 150 bucks la... And will get it faster. I'm happy even if there are no amiibos
