Yea, hopefully can see some improvements on their pricing. I can understand that maybe they need this to become BIG once again. Won't comment much on their chosen strategy honestly.

I think the most ridiculous price of all of the accessories I've seen so far locally would be the Joy-Con grip/ holder (without the charging capability) which is priced at RM150+. Damn add up a little bit more and we could get a Sony DS4! Damn!!  doh.gif laugh.gif

Easiest way to return the favour, don't hype the accessories. When people ask for opinion, keep really quiet.

HD Rumble as well, but the thing is Wii U has 80h and i think Switch one only has 40h. Yeah it has NFC but still, tbh really pricy.
I said it has good battery life because i am comparing it the DS4. But with the Pro Controller awesome price, we can get 2 DS4 instead...

Don't think too much. Just buy Nintendo games.
Other premium priced games like Atlus +10?
Let it fall.

Mario Kart Switch version probably is worse than WiiU considering you have to pay to play online if you really like playing online.

It's released in less than a month so you should have warranty.
Unless you bought imported set, you will not have a warranty.

I just got a reply from kopiPeng. Didn't recognise the model number.

Edited:
kopipeng said can order for us but need 1-2 weeks to reach.
PM @kopiPeng if you're interested.

stringfellow, do share with us your impressions of the Xiaomi power bank from time to time.

cannot do anything because battery tech didn't improve. If New Switch comes out at 2020, probably will have zero improvement in battery life.

Just skimmed through a little, and seems like it need to refill. Probably a good thing for consumer if the refills are found everywhere.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Mar 30 2017, 03:27 PM)
Like your car. Hence , "fuel cell".

And just like new technology, who's willing to testdrive other than early adopters? EArly adopters who will face the growing pains and difficulty using this. Just like the growing pains of electric car users finding top-up electric stations for their own car "powerbanks".

Point is, people wont get on board until it's widespread. Majority will take the "wait and see" approach, because nobody wants to spend to be an early adopter. If that's the case, they can't complain about "battery tech not improving", the options are there, they're just not willing to spend on it. Myself included. Only that in my case, I'm not willing to spend on it, but I'm aware that there are other options available.
*

I doubt any manufacturer want to be the first to announce: My phone/tablet/laptop can last for days without charging but now you have to pay $$ to refill the fuel every week. Without our fuel, our phone/tablet/laptop is a piece of brick.

Is fuel cell refills cheap?

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Mar 30 2017, 10:28 PM)
Like all new technology it wont be cheap, that's the nature of emerging technology. Was the iPhone cheap when it arrived during the days of brick phones and clunky PDAs? Eventually, once enough early adopters absorbs the cost and drive up enough interest for them to mass-manufacture, the price goes down. The question here is, which one are you: early-adopter or wait-and-see-er?

I suggest we adjourn away from this discussion, it's already diverting away from the thread topic.

Point taken.
Thanks for recommending the powerbank. Just received it today.

Xiaomi ZMI QB820 20,000 mAh powerbank
This powerbank is suitable for travelling user.
I drained the Switch battery until left 3%. The Switch is fully charged around 3~4 hours while playing Zelda if used the USB C to C cable.
The powerbank only left 2 bar after finished charging.

Thanks stringfellow for the recommendation.
