Origin of Sunway BRT

- Sunway area was not part of LRT Extension coverage
- Sunway was disappointed
- BRT is the solution
- Sunway willing to chip-in some financial backing for BRT together with Prasarana

can you minta do video to educate people to line up. put that on tv monitor every station?

It will be part of RapidKL operation.

Klang - KL BRT along the Federal Highway well be the next one to be build.

Operation maybe June 9th, again tentatively.

sunway only provide some land to prasarana.. it more 30:70 deal.

maintenance will be done by BYD themself under maintenance contract / transfer technology.

heard that ticket will one fare type.. regardless distance.. it hard to define.. either to use bus fare rule (enforce by SPAD) or normal LRT fare rule (also enforce by SPAD)

how about ticketing. Is it integrated ticketing with the lrt, or do people have to buy separate ticket for BRT?

The parking spaces has done, and started to fill in vacant but only for monash and sunway staffs. mostly station has nearly completed with escalator. What they have not finish is the section across the NPE highway crossing bridge. And, thank to Sunway! They purposely renovate the road to red brick tiling and even the lines and arrows are by using coloured brick-Yellow colour.
And thanks to Sunway, they even widen the road from Sunway Pyramid to Kewajipan Round-about, community project by Sunway!




ps. I stay besides Sunway Pyramid. My home just 100meter to BRT Station.

It should. You don't get any jams for one. The only possible problem it might face is breakdowns.
