Hi, my dad helped me by took my car to a service center for timing belt replacement. First time but I didn't expect so much - RM652.80 ohmy.gif

Just curious and wanted to know if it really cost that much. I'm not the expert in cars, forgive me in advance. smile.gif

I've just have my car serviced 1.5 month ago. Below is the receipt, is there any repetitive?

nope. nothing repetitive. Yes, timing belt replacement usually costs that much. I see valve cover gasket, oil nut and oil cap o-ring as well. Must be your dad complained of a leaky gasket issue also... which is common in all campro engines.

Is your car really SAGA FLX?

If that's the case then you need to bring the car back to the Proton Service Center where you did the ATF changing. They put in the wrong fluid. Your FLX is running on CVT gearbox. The ATF fluid they put in is for conventional torque converter automatics used in Saga BLM and FL, but not compatible for FLX. Using non-compatible fluid in CVT gearbox will result in premature failure of the gearbox.

ok. in that case, your car is fine. smile.gif

p/s: it will be cheaper if you bring the car to service outside, since the car sudah no more warranty.
