Journey was Lumix LX5 ---> Canon EOS M ---> Nikon D7100 + 50mm F1.8 lens

Still very new hope to learn from everyone here. Mostly shoot on Auto mode on my previous cameras. Time to go Manual

Btw, is there any lens to introduce which is commonly used for travel? I prefer a more versatile one as this 50mm is kinda close sometimes. My friend actually borrowed me his 15-55mm kit lens but just wondering if there is any better one. Love taking crystal clear shots with huge bocay!

Hard to find 18-105mm now. There are ample of 18-140mm in the market. Can shoot birds liao. 

Can get 2nd unit at very cheap price yo.

Is the 70-200mm enough for birding? I tried 18-140mn kit lens before, not enough for birding. How I wish to own a birding lens too.

Anyone here knows where to send lenses for fungus cleaning around Kampar or Ipoh area?

I kena the lottery again today, lens was still clean in the morning but after travelling for few hours in cold air-cond some fungus appeared   

As crazy as it sounds, I am quite sure that the cold and humid environment caused the fungus to grow, as I had checked the lens yesterday night and it was still fine.

A few spots appeared on the rear element of the lens which I managed to wipe off with lenspen but there's still one within the inner element.

Hi guys. I own a Nikon D5100, with Sigma 200mm. Bought it for taking pictures while travelling but now I got slight regret.
One thing is I'm a bad bad learner. I'm still depending on auto mode all the time. Second is my neck is all the way sore while carrying it when travelling.
So I have in mind now two options, and need some opinions on that.
First, I sell this DSLR and get myself a mirrorless.
Second, I get a basic lense which will be lighter.
(Btw, how much will a basic lense cost?)
Please please suggest me what should I do >﹏<

which 70-300mm non-VR?
the early digital era or the film / 90s era?
regardless, stay far far away from both.

just stick with 70-300VR, u wont regret it for the price...especially used since quite cheap now.
and just cos something has VR doesnt mean its a magic cure for blur free photos.
ur technique and knowledge still more important.

If want use adapter that have corrective lens please buy the expensive with good review one. Since cheap adapter they will put cheap corrective lens that will degrade your image quality. 

May I know you using the m42 lens for taking photo or video? If you want manual focus lens, nikon actually have plenty of them which is very good

yup, interesting combo, but my adapter is those without correcting lens so cant focus infinity
