50mm 1.8g, 24-120 f4 and tamron 70-300 usd

those 3 lens if u put on the d7200 still is pretty decent. bah, its more than decent for jalan2 and a casual shooting..
but then, get another 50/1.8 a cheap2 one for the wife lah..
the lightest combo. or get the 35mm/f1.8 also good with the d7200..

Congrats. Don't know if you found out already but shooting the external of a car on ultra wide angle really distorts the shape of the car. I prefer to shoot slightly telle. Internal for ultra wide angle is fine though.
*
well, dont shoot close up. place the car in a good location, nice background.
hit up some lights and put the car in the middle of the frame.. walla! no distortion!
and i do most shoots of cars so far using ultra wide; just because i dont have expensive tele lenses hahaha

VR version price almost double.... and its build of plastic... read some reviews also said not as good as the old G version.

already pretty happy with this lense.. although need faster shutter to compensate with VR (hence thinking of D3s or D800)  brows.gif

still researching though

welcome to FX man! u can try the new D750 gerenti puas hati hahaha~

doesn't bother me at all, if printed at 4r still ok.
anyway its only a rm700 used sigma lens, 17-70.
*
try to check for backfocusing, because when u use open wide aperture it is very noticeable if backfocus/frontfocus hmm.gif

For average users? biggrin.gif Actually D750 is the all-rounder that's suitable for all sorts of people from beginners to professionals.
*

I've owned the newer Nikkor DX 55-300mm and I have to say that it is a really slow lens, not too sure if the same would apply to the 55-200mm or not.

But again it depends on how's your shooting style, having a longer reach might not be useful if you're shooting mostly scenery smile.gif

You mind elaborating more about your shooting style/genre?
*
it depends also on VR and body, if fast focusing camera body will helps too!
