QUOTE(ragnarokB2 @ May 25 2015, 02:31 PM) A D90. A 35 1.8G is much sharper trust me. i used both.I've been looking around for comparison with the 1.8 DX. There are features where the AF-D wins, but yeah overall 1.8 DX is better. Still I'd go for AF-D with a good price. btw i was thinkin to grab a wide. either a 20mm 2.8D or the 18-35mm 3.5-4.5G who has tried them before? |

QUOTE(jun_ng_1208 @ May 26 2015, 10:47 AM) Any brothers here used both Nikon 85mm F1.8G and 105mm Micro F2.8 VR/VR II before? Am looking to use the lens for events/weddings/potrait shooting i have 85 1.8G, i use it for weddings and portraits. Sharp, but a little slow on AF, but sufficiently fast enuf for most excpet sports? and i like that lens alot cz of it's nice bokeh as well. u could consider sigma 85 1.4, which has even better bokehhhh , but have nt tried. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Sony has better video quality and much lighter. Best for u to travel around with compared to a full frame dslr. But sony has super expensive lenses and AF nt as fast as dslr. Drains out battery like crazy, u will need at least 3 of them for a day if ure travelling. if you're working with it, u'll need at least 6 to 10 of them. Hw long u used d5200? » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « Im using a tokina 11-16 on a FX camera. |

QUOTE(vincetee06 @ Sep 28 2016, 05:29 PM) They're used for different purposes. So cant say that one is better than another. |

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « What i meant was autofocus for photo. For video, most of the time u'll use manual focus. and btw a7r II is kinda very superior compared to a7, a7ii and a7r. same goes to the price tag. |

QUOTE(vincetee06 @ Sep 29 2016, 11:12 AM) Yes, the edge out data may not showing significant different result. Which sony new lens is 2.6k? The Sony 55mm f/1.8 Sonnar? But the price of that sony new lens is just about 2.6K, thats tempting, i had seen the result from this lens, really perfect. And its price doesn't drop much when comes to used lens, if compare to Nikon used lens, usually dropped more than 30% IMO. I am thinking... possible to use Sony FE lens on my 5200? if in future, i am comfortable to upgrade Sony system still can use it. Btw, i saw in KLDSLR, a lot of Nikon used Big F-stop 50mm G lens, price at around 8-900 up to 1.5k only, these lens can buy? Anyone bought used Nikon lens from them? Price of sony lens not dropping cz of current high demand imo Btw i have seen ppl using adapter on a sony body for nikon/canon lens. but not the other way round la If u wanna get a 50mm, i recommend the sigma 50mm 1.4 EX (but get the old version, rougher surface one cz i think they produce sharper image) But on a DX body, a 35mm 1.8G DX is better suited for me since can use it indoors n outdoors. Go n try it out at nikon timesquare |

QUOTE(vincetee06 @ Sep 30 2016, 07:32 AM) Yes, both lazada ad kldslr selling at 2.7k, with discount code can further reduce the price to 2.6 and 2.5k. I am thinking Dun get from lazada la, lazada from various sellers and they maybe selling import set and all that. kldslr i deal wit him before. this 55mm 1.8 maybe enough for portrait use, hunt one more 16-35mm for landscape then i am good to go. For Sigma lens, i am not familiar with it, maybe the price cheaper, but the i am doubting the IQ can fight against Zeiss lens? Yes, if u're using sony FF such as Sony a7 for instance, a 55mm and a 16-35 would be sufficient for almost everythin. Btw im comparing the sigma 50 1.4 EX with nikon 50mm lenses (50mm 1.8D, 1.8G, 1.4D, 1.4G) If u wanna bring in Zeiss, then u shud compare with the Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art (cz similar price range but much heavier) |

QUOTE(vincetee06 @ Sep 30 2016, 02:50 PM) My initial idea was same with you, selling my Nikon and jump to Sony Mirrorless FF, but Sony fans ask me to stay in where i am. Hmm.. I din really compare the prices and from which dealer. But i found a dealer selling a7ii at rm4823. timesquare one and it's sony set, not import. So i came to here and survey Nikon, mana tahu here people also say the same thing... Yea, i really love how the image is presented by using that 55mm 1.8 zeiss, and the price is affordable for me. But Sony camera body price is no joke... So now i considering 3 combination: Sony A7ii + 55mm 1.8zeiss + 16-35mm F4 zeiss Sony A7R ii + above same lens (not enough fund for this, but can installment) Nikon D750 + 50mm F1.8G ED Bro, the seller is KengDim, which have a shop in Cheras. he is selling official Sony Malaysia Warranty set. Both Shashikin and KLDSLR also selling this lens at the same price. Perhaps you go update your list =) |
