It's too high for flash photography. Try reducing it to 1/200s

QUOTE(GenericMav @ Apr 6 2015, 10:26 AM) Try capturing an image outdoors in the morning without flash. Do you still face this issue ?Do you face this issue for every picture ? Seems like the dark line is at the same spot... So it could be acSensor /shutter fault. |

QUOTE(jchue73 @ May 31 2015, 12:38 PM) Only when doing macro. The loss of aperture at macro distances is how it is for internal focus lenses. You don't shoot f/2.8 for macro anyways. For normal shooting, the lens works fine at f/2.8. It's f/5.6 despite what the LCD may show. Errr... if not wrong the Canon EF 100mm IS f/2.8L does 1:1 at f/2.8. Paiseh. It's actually about f/4.8. Oh, VR also does not work especially at 1:1 macro work. Shake is too amplified at this magnification to be compensated by the VR. Formula is about (1 + magnification) x (stated aperture) This post has been edited by LegendLee: May 31 2015, 02:30 PM |

The recent fiasco on the photoshopped plane image got quite a bit of heat.
I guess it's not a surprised though, as the ones judging are not the type who would pixel peep... |

QUOTE(Everdying @ Feb 1 2016, 12:41 PM) dont need to pixel peep also la. It's likely that the one who selected the winner was Nikon staff themselves. even on my phone i can see the white box around it dunno what kinda crap monitors the agency who judged the image was using. And it is also very likely that they use bad monitors. The laptops given by the IT department there tend to have bad screens. I used to work there lol.
