By the way, not sure whether there are any bird-shooting Nikonians here.. but if you are interested, Kampar is a very nice place for bird-shooting thumbup.gif
I have only been working here for a few months but the variety of birds I have seen is  pretty shocking laugh.gif

Cannot afford birding lens, too insanely expensive sweat.gif Couldn't get a single shot using my longest (105mm) lens also, despite "formidable" ninja skills T@T

I was a student at Kampar UTAR and I know a lecturer in UTAR is actually a bird photographer or more of a bird lover.

If you happen to know Mr. Tou Jing Yi, that's him.

Nothing wrong with it ah haha, some people prefer the image effects of higher ISO  thumbup.gif
Overly high ISO can be very nice especially when indoors~
Great shots!
I just noticed that the landscape on the road to Tanjung Tualang (keep on going after Kampar Putra) is really majestic! Definitely have to go shoot there  thumbup.gif

taken 2 years back before I graduated, that time the road still in construction

I've recently taken some wedding/event shots, but client doesn't want to me upload their photos... so I don't really have anything else apart from macro shots  sweat.gif

Oh easy stuff.

What exactly do you need to know?

Basic is camera + trigger > flash + receiver.

Depending on model and camera, the camera comes with build in transmitter while the flash has built in receiver.

I'm using the D700 along with SB800. The popup flash master-slave configuration is quite troublesome since it requires a line of sight between the commander and strobe's light sensor.

thinking of getting a wireless transmitter/receiver but I'm overwhelmed with the brands, price and models... such as cheap ones JJC and out-of-league pocket-wizard

Hi guys, i am casual D5200 shooter, thinking to upgrade to FF system.
Now considering to switch to sony mirrorless system or Nikon FF.
i want to know is D810 worth the upgrade? the price is quite steep tho..
My mainly shooting landscape, portrait, travel vlog (used to work with 1080 60p), and thinking to step in wedding
photo in near future.
*
Firstly, are there any solid reason behind the intention to upgrade?

Because the D5200 is no slouch in terms of image quality and based on your usage, I believe the D5200 is more suitable for VLOG because of the flippy screen.

On top of that, the cost of upgrading is going to be VERY steep because of the glass you put at the front of the camera, never just the body alone.
