Then is you ask for it, cheap amps if the power rating in rms is low cannot power a woofer with rms way higher than it. It will not give you enough 'kick'. Maybe you should check what is your woofer actual power before you buying another amp. If using a 1000wrms woofer, any rm500 amp also cannot power it nicely.
power got nth to do with burnt amp la..usually is the ohm..
if the woofer ohm is lower than the amp can support..then kaboom lo
