Joined plexus about 5 years ago. It was kinda laid back. Yes you have to work long hours if there are a lot of NPIs but pressure from your site management isn't that bad compared to now. Now plexus is cutting back the manpower, from operator all the way up to engineers. Managers, nope they still hiring or keeping. So suddenly a 3 man job becomes 2 man job and then suddenly you realize you're a junior engineer handling the workload of 3 engineers and one of it is a Sr. Engineer job. That's why you see so many vacancies. The workload is insane. And then management expects the same performance level even it's already down to one person. Benefits, if you want the money, go to Jabil or Flex. Plexus is just average compared to these 2 companies pay. the work style of management is "update". The more you spend time updating your boss and management, especially through whatsapp, the more they will like you. They see you as "on top of things" even though it is other engineers who are solving the problem. You want good benefits you go to those MNC OEMs. Plexus saves up all it's benefits for senior management. They cut back OTs which means you will be doing free work but you see manager and above rolling in brand new BMWs. Most managers at Plexus aren't where they are now because they are the best and brightest. They are the ones who pick the right team and earned a phd in ass kissing. Politics here is tough. Work here long enough and you will earn yourself a Phd in politics. Best benefits here is they pay for your car loan INTEREST. That's it. Increment is about 5 percent. And if you don't "wayang" enough for the bosses, expect to be where you are until kingdom comes. Sorry, hard work doesn't really get you far here. You need to someone above to "bring you up". But you live and die by them.Plexus Hiring, Plexus Career & Future
