Just bought my gopro hero 4 yesterday and today while I was charging it with random wall usb charger, the wall charger explode. And now my gopro seems like cannot turn on. Does it affect my gopro or just the bettery? If the camera ( ) will they cover my warranty? Tq

I use original cable. But cheap usb wall plug charger. maybe thats the problem.

Sadly its fried. But I went to the store, they change new gopro n bettery only. And its not void my warranty.maybe because I just bought 1 day before its broken.

Btw, what charger u recommended for gopro? Really have no idea. I scared now. Haha

Err..I'm also using a wall plug with USB. It's a Skross though but most of the time, I use the desktop charger that comes with the extra batteries I bought separately.

Use an original iPhone charger. My GPH3 all using either Samsung or Apple chargers. Max also 1A @ 5V.

I just went to the store. I said, last night I charged my gopro, when I woke up its already broken. Just telling the truth. I also said that i want to claim warranty lol.

After that he changed new gopro and bettery, took from other box. I thaught its void my warranty, but when I go home. I look at the new receipt, the warranty date still there .

Lol. nice then. its the truth. but some cheeky things is u are not using proper charger. hehe.. ur luck then brah.
