havent tried that thermal paste (Arctic Cooling MX1). how is it compared to AS 5? and what do you mean by easy to apply?

QUOTE MX1 is not conductive at all. So all u need to do is put a blob in the middle like I did n just put the HSF on top. U dont hafta worry about it overflowing around the socket area n shorting things out. U dont hafta spread teh paste flat like most pastes require.
