Anyone else having this problem with IOX today? When I am using the IOXNET free 10mins internet today, it seemed that Celcom is using the quota from my MIP. I received two SMS from Celcom, 1 stating that I had exceeded 70% of my quota & another 1 for 100% of my quota. I still have a few hundred MB of data left when I redeemed the IOXNET. Now all my quota is gone. Then my speed was throttled even though the 10 mins was not over yet. Only after I disabled & enabled my data again that I got back the normal speed. What happened, Celcom? mad.gif

I lodged a complaint through OCS. I got a call from Celcom's Customer Service. I was told that maybe I continued to use my quota after the free Internet finished. But clearly that was not the case as I my quota finished while there were still a lot of time left for the free Internet. It was during that time that I got the sms that I had exceeded the quota. I was told that they cannot refund me back as they needed proof that there was a problem with the system. I was advised if the same thing happens again, to take a screenshot of the phone & attach it together when i make a complaint.

I am seriously disappointed with Celcom. vmad.gif I thought the IOXNET problem was solved. Today when I redeemed my Free Internet, I got the success SMS but my speed was slow like hell, redeemed twice, still same problem. Meaning, I don't get the free high-speed Internet at all since I can still continue to browse since my quota was all eaten up by Celcom. If I get to redeem the Free Internet, my speed should not be capped anymore. Really lousy Celcom. mad.gif

Btw, I am using my UMobile line to post here. Using Celcom to load even this is taking a very long time.

IOXNET free Internet is NOT FREE anymore based on what I experienced. When I still have quota from MIP subscription, all my quota was consumed instead even when I redeemed the free Internet. When I was left with no more quota, my speed got throttled. Even when I tried to redeem again the next few days, my speed was still capped. If not subscribed to internet plan, they eat your credit instead. Meaning no more free unlimited speed Internet (10mins x 3) for me. sad.gif

I complained to CS and was told to try some stupid troubleshooting like try it with different phone, try it in different place, try again another day. Result was still the same. The CS then said "Customer must use the FREE internet 1st before using the subscribed Internet plan". When I asked him to clarify further, all he did was repeat the line over & over again. I never had this problem earlier whether I used the free Internet 1st or use it later. Then I was told to wait for 3 working days for them to resolve the issue. More than 3 days passed and nothing happened, contacted CS again, was told to be patient and wait, usually takes 3-7 working days. mad.gif

This problem happened after they introduced Magic Sim. Maybe Celcom don't want to support IOX anymore and trying to force subscribers to switch to the new plan. vmad.gif If that is the case, I might as well just cancel the line & switch to another celco. Luckily, I did not subscribe to those 1 year / 2 years plan.

I would like to ask those who have redeemed the free movie tickets earlier for Xpax Magic Sim. Once you downloaded the vouchers you need to bring it to GSC to redeem the tickets right? Can you redeem the tickets for another day or need to redeem the tickets only on the day you want to watch the movies? Thanks.
