I called to Celcom Customer Service just now to enquiry about the First Basic 38 3GB data promotion. The CS confirmed we will always have 3GB month as long as we keep the line active.

Which one is correct?
*
" You will enjoy the promotional offering of 3GB Internet and 3GB WiFi as long as you are active with FIRSTâ„¢ Basic 38 plan if you sign up within the promotion period. "

This is what stated in celcom website under First Basic 38 plan

I successful ported from Maxis (postpaid) to Celcom First 38 plan since a week ago, but the strange thing is the operator logo showing is Maxis instead of Celcom. I have double confirmed with Celcom customer service, but they cant tell me why the logo wont change to Celcom.

any thought?

I ported my line from Maxis postpaid to Celcom First Basic 38 plan. Have been using their services for nearly a month now, here my feedback :

- 4G and 3G speed are fast most of the time and signal strengh consider reasonable good.

- Customer service (care line) are disappointed , most of them don't have enough product knowledge and the way their talk is not professional at all.

From hotlink to celcom basic, but no auto roaming. I guess can  request for autoroam. Any bro encounter similar case, any additional fees?
*
I assume your auto roaming mean international roaming?

By right, you have to be with Celcom at least 6 months then you can request to activate international roaming .

If you are port in customer and less than 6 months, you have two options

1. Pay RM200 or RM300 deposit to activcate roaming service
2. Provide the bill from your previous service provider to prove that you have international service activated before.

deduct 50 cent is not main issue,

main issue is the helpline is quite useless and helpless,.. they basically reading out what their monitor screen show them to you,..  doh.gif

TOTALLY AGREED!

I ported from Maxis postpaid to Celcom Postpaid. Celcom CS are uesless, no product knowledge, dont understand what customer want, even a small issue they cant even advise, they only know to say " ok i will help you to create a report " !!!! Eventually problem is not resolved for weeks!

in term of customer service, i would say Maxis is far better than Celcom!

I'm using First 38 for almost 2 months..Noticed that the celcom line is not as good as Maxis..

I'm facing these problems:-
1. Frequently changing from 3G to H and 4G at the same place
2. Sometimes facing very poor signal, unstable signal even though at same place
3. Sometimes after disconnect from Wifi, it connect to data, but got upload no download(can see upload arrow is blinking but not download) <--- when this happen, either I need to wait for a quite long time in order for it to actually "online" or I switch to flight mode for 3-5 sec and off flight mode to get online)

Those problems I'm facing not only happen to my phone and also my friends who using this plan..

Anyone facing these kind of problems?
*
I've been using forFirst 38 for 2 months too!

Yes, I'm facing EXACTLY the same problems too...
data connection not stable and i hate it the most when it show full bar H+ but it won't move at all!!!
I read other forum, i think many users facing this issue also.

Beside that this, the speed of it 4G network is faster than Maxis.. i can easily get 50Mbps and above .

Fast or not doesn't matter..since H+ is fast enough for daily usage..but its not stable..which frustrated me..  rclxub.gif

I saw one the shop still selling Internet Of Xpax (IOX) sim package.

I wondering once it is activated, it will automatic change to Magic SIM plan ? or IOX ?

please advise.
