I always wandering why they want to introduce package for only up to 4gb with option to top up quota instead of 20gb or 30gb for RM100.

they discontinued the 'use at your own pace' plan in magic sim. the only telco who has this kind of plan . alright people lets terminate.

what i actually see from the sim is
1. they want have fixed monthly commitment, this is celcom intention to reduce unhealthy source of revenue like xpax, iox since all potential new prepaid customers are not entitled to get xpax, iox, and sox.
-no more ext 1 or ext 2
-high cost to maintain /rarely use or unused 'sim number'
-active users need to pay a minimum Rm360 to keep the account active? (cekcom cash hungry liao)

--no social and chat pack

2. not attractive enough(too stingy on quota)
-not attractive to make it differential perception.
-no 20gb/30gb at less than RM100
--semakpong is becoming more popular. scroll 1 time news feed on fb also can consume up to 3-6MB per new feeds fetched. tried on lowyat also took 20MB because of the picture.

3. another copycat sim 64kbps/360 from existing sim which is hotlink and no 360 from digi easy prepaid.

--trying to counter UMOBILE limited period unlimited data offering
-UMOBILE UMI30 1.5gb - magic sim offers 1.8gb
-UMI 50 3gb at RM50 - magic sim 4gb at RM58 with forward carried unused data

#i think sialcom put more priority on magicsim because the nature is similar to postpaid. also, no more promotion for xpax cause seldom see any promotion in regards to this package.
