RM300-RM200? For many poor families that amount can already pay a monthly installment for a small car or kapcai motorbike instead of spending it on some useless internet access plan which can't even keep your stomach full.

This is also true with the latest plan TM is implementing with its latest UniFi plans. An ARPU of close to RM200 from Malaysians.

In Singapore or even Thailand, their citizens don't even need to pay beyond $70 regardless of currency conversion rates. You can get 1Gbps access in Singapore under $50 and then in Thailand, 15mbps UNLIMITED access via fixed lines are priced at 599Baht(which is Thai equivalent of $59.90).

Fresh grads who demand that current starting salaries be revised to RM3500 also local corporations making fuss already, you want Malaysians to spend RM300 on useless internet subscription plans that are subjected to 24hours spying by government?

Paying RM300 a month totals up to RM7200 for a 24 months contract period.

You know RM7200 can buy how many laptops already? For some poor families, that's enough for even a laptop + a brand new scooter as transport for the family.TM is now asking for an average ARPU of nearing RM200 a month for its Advance UniFi plans. That sums up to a total RM4800 a month. Again you could probably buy 2 laptops with that much money. 

The money spent for a 50M line by paying a monthly bill in excess of hundreds means what for you? Download porn and movies all day while daddy forks the money out for you effortlessly every month? Don't BS with me if you you're using your high speed line for anything beneficial if you're using it at home.Virtual learning, video conferencing and online apps have never taken off well in this country. OTT IPTV services are pretty much banned/restricted to make way for crony pay TV markets such as ASTRO.

I've been involved in this industry for over 20 years now having with experience with gigabit connections first hand even before Singaporeans had it deployed.

For me, I only get to spend a few hours at home before bedtime every weekday and almost never sit at home during weekends because that's the only valuable time I have with the family.

Why we talking bout Unifi? If u have mobile internet with unlimited and unthrottled speed then just cut all home wifi.

Use ur mobile internet 100% la..connect to ur pc, habis cerita..anywhere pun can use internet even jalan2 with family..im still bujang lagi senang xpayah kongsi2 hahaha

Celcom 4G doesn't work quite well in indoor. I move my mifi from the car porch of my house to my living room, the speed changes from 20mbps to mere 2mbps...
