Why?

Since it is above RM500, you are imposed with custom Tax.

Once you get Custom Tax, you need to pay local GST if the GST system is consistent with the Australia's (I am a Tax Accountant here)

I pay the most is RM650 which i expect. Since i already ordered my jpn ce since day 1.
For the other regions i'm uncertain.
Especially EU ver. The price fluctuates too huge.
Really damn sian with this heavensward expansion. They launch at the worse time of the year.

So i just preordered from amazon...

In total about RM250

But have to wait for after release THEN they will package it and ship, so 1 week early access what happen ah? Burn?

But I still get the pre-order bonus items though...

Here's a guide from my friend Arcus.

Currently Heavensward is up on GMG but it's region locked, that means if your IP is Malaysia you won't be able to see it.

No worries! Here's a workaround! Get a UK or Europe VPN, or search ZenMate extension if you're on Google Chrome (this works for me) and install it! Then you go back to http://www.greenmangaming.com and there you go! Heavensward appears!

Note 1: If your ARR version is NA, please DO NOT attempt this method, please just proceed to Square Enix NA Store to purchase your Heavensward. What we are doing here, is for the EU version of ARR (UK is EU as well).

Note 2: Square Enix EU store seems to be recognising Australian IP, so if you have any Aussie friend or family that is willing to go through the trouble to preorder for you, please do so. It will save you tonnes of troubles. smile emoticon

Note 3: If you are a returning customer (you bought FFXIV through GMG before), log in and you will received an email with a 25% voucher (some of my friends dint get it, maybe promo expired).

Note 4: If you are new to GMG, stay on a page for awhile there will be a banner pop up that will give you 20% voucher. You can use it to purchase Heavensward.

Well the box ce is too expensive.
Mayb just get the ps4 normal ver since I prefer to play on console after trying out on PC too
