They already planning type 081 which is a lhd type.

Getting a ready mistral is just a fast forward of the original planning. Though it will leave us in the pacific uneasy.

They alreayd used NATO to block the sales to rusia. But how they going to block the sales to pacific?

Thats why I asked earlier, what is exactly is on the arms embargo on China? Probably non-NATO countries don't apply to it, but I see Germany freely sell marine engines to China which is being installed on PLAN warships. Dont understand.... hmm.gif

Britain's RAF suspends A400M flights after Spain crash
PARIS | Sat May 9, 2015 1:00pm EDT

PARIS (Reuters) - Britain's Royal Air Force has suspended operations of its Airbus (AIR.PA) A400M Atlas troop and cargo planes as it waits for more information on the cause of a crash involving a similar aircraft during testing in Spain on Saturday, the Ministry of Defense said.

The RAF has taken delivery of two of the 22 planes it has ordered.

The crashed aircraft was not earmarked for the RAF, but operations have been halted as a precaution, a spokeswoman said.

The side mirrors are standard on some MBTs and can be folded. Mainly use during driving on roads. Even the Leo 2s are with side mirrors.

Anyway the Altay in IDEF 2015 is the final design prototype. The design of the turret is different from the early prototype.
