Somehow i accidentally turned on the Digi network and the local provider in Myanmar took over.

However, i didnt on the data for the phone

So do i get charged for connecting the local provider with my malaysia sim card?

File in a complain as Digi are only suppose to charge you when you pick up call, make a call, send SMS and use data when roaming. Connecting to it should not incur any charges

That's standard SMS provided by telcos when you put your feet on other countries. But they won't charge anything, so no need to worry much.
