QUOTE(Xirality @ Apr 6 2015, 03:14 PM) The remax 0.1mm should be good enough, there's no need to spend over RM100 for a glass SP now. Plenty of option in market. this screen protector sucks to the max1. coating prematurely worn off (less than 1 week) 2. too thin 3. which cause the sides' 2.5D supposedly curves to be sharp and not properly 2.5D 4. cracks too easily 5. cannot remove without destroying everything 6. chips 7. cracks when you use finger nail |

QUOTE(akkihiko @ Apr 7 2015, 05:23 PM) thanks for your review on remax 0.1mm tempered glass. was about to order that item then need to cancel edi I didn't like it at all so i'm just speaking my mindNillkin very good? then will order that instead. or if anyone else got any other glass sp to recommend pls do, thanks. what i do like about nillkin (my opinion) 1. nice blue tint under the sun, makes it look awesome 2. invisible blue tint if viewed indoors most of the time 3. coating feels durable (1 week and still smooth, remax died on me 2-3 days after) 4. edges are not sharp i'm not saying bad things about remax but i believe the too-thin nature makes the edges sharp |

QUOTE(Xirality @ Apr 7 2015, 08:26 PM) What does the blue tint do? If I doesn't on the screen, it is blue? They earn more with 16GB model since 16GB cost is way lower than 64 and 128. QUOTE(Connect2USales @ Apr 7 2015, 11:23 PM) Blue tint is actually the color of the glass type. in nillkin's case it is not a problem of making it transparent as their intention is to make it blue to absorb some blue light so you stop watching blue stuff on your phone to save your eyes from damnation (and soul from eternal damnation)For soda lime glass type, you will see blue or green tint especially on the edges. Some high quality one will have faded tints and some might even looks transparent. But if you look close enough you will still notice it. The brighter the color of the tint, the lower the quality based on our tests all these years. This is probably due to the level of processing to compress the glass. You can try comparing it too, take 2 pieces of glass sp (soda lime based) and hit it with sharp objects. The one with brighter color on the edges will break easier than the one which is more fade. Only Corning and Sapphire glass is 100% transparent clear on the edges. Hope this explains it. it is intentional instead of consequential of the glass |

QUOTE(attw @ Apr 17 2015, 05:54 PM) I've seen a shop in 1 Utama selling some Rock casings, but they're probably not very competitively priced given how expensive the rental at 1 Utama must be. It's called Cubix at the Lower Ground Floor. As you walk in the entrance, look on your bottom left for some shelfs with phone casings. oh thanks mate!! Very helpful and accurate location |

well, beta 2 is much much much improved on beta 1 which is a relief
battery life is back to 80-90% of normal compared to 30% previously. animations are better but still lose out to normal ios8, it still lags and stutters multitask is smoother force close is fewer in between occurences but still there (facebook, i'm looking at you) some flashing of the status bar is happening when i open different apps (flash on and off very quickly for 1-2 seconds) home button click to screen on time has reduced but still feels laggier than stock |

QUOTE(iArvage @ Jul 10 2015, 02:26 PM) iOS 9 is fine. Although I suggest you don't update if you have an insanely big WhatsApp backup. Because that is just a pain in the rear end to restore. For iPhone 6+ the multitask switcher lags, a lot. Out of topic, after jailbreaking, I ran my iPhone 6+ at 5S resolution, everything is so much smoother T_T Is there a real lag? Why are you saying lag lag when it is beta software? This is not iOS 9 Beta review thread la.. This is iphone thread. Why not just talk about how was your lunch last week or how many pimples you have on your back while you are at it? inb4 i use my pimple to unlock my phone due to the signature pattern on the pimple. |
