how to identify model, capacity & color from the below example ?

MG**2**/A

the 1st * (is the code for that particular model. 4= 6 & A = 6+)
the 2nd * (is the code for capacity & color for that particular model. F = black 64gb
the 3rd & 4th * (is the country code. MY = malaysia, ZP = HK, ZA = SG

so, if yours is 6 black 64gb. the model in the setting will be = MG4F2MY/A

sharing for those who don't know, very useful when u want to restore your iphone using ipsw file.

and it's depends on the preference as well, for me I hate being tied to any telco contract. Don't have freedom to switch plan or port to different telco.

I took digi package cos i need the amount of data since i am running a full time ecommerce business. If buy phone only need to pay a lot more.. I got my ip6+ 64gb for RM1851 only wor.. if no contract need to pay a lot more.. even without contract, my monthly bill also amounting RM150... with contract it's about RM149.. haha

i got a new phone from digi too... replacement for my ip5 last time..

dont bank on this.. you wouldn't know when you are leaving the company.. last time i took a corporate line with RM180 per month since company paying RM200 per month. I got my phone for only RM1K (iP5). 4 months down the road, I quitted my job and because of that, i need to pay the Rm180 per month... and that time, since i just started my own business, i dont even need that much of data and the package was too exp for me. I ended up terminating the line and paid about RM1500 as penalty...

Better take plans according to usage..

This is also true. Which was why I only signed an iValue 1 with 100 commitment every month for a year. It still saves few hundred bucks off the phone price.

But I bought mine from the SG Apple Store.

if you bring ZA unit to any store, sometimes they reject.

mostly they accept MY unit

but then, if you got official receipt by Apple store itself, then no worries. unless bought from 3rd party with no receipt then gonna be questionnaire

some more, if you call apple service, they also know. which serial number official sold by them thru online/physical store. asset track maa.

Somehow, Apple Store Singapore unit uses the ZP code as well. My first Iphone 6 from Singapore Apple Store was ZP.

before this, im also wondering. ask here. people not answer at all even they got different code for diff country.

as you know, in malaysia they hardly accept non MY unit.

but as long got official black and white like your case then hassle free


before this i also use sg set. mostly code with ZA. never get the code with ZP.

For Mac city they accept warranty claim for Singapore unit but your phone must from SINGAPORE APPPLE ONLINE STORE.
