If you are going to use data and make calls, then you will definitely need a telco plan anyway. The thing is you'll need to pick a plan that suits your usage to make sure you don't pay for what you don't use. Also it's important to pick a telco that has coverage in the places you frequent, otherwise it's pretty useless even if you managed to buy the phone cheap.

Physical home button, hate assistive touch. Phone still under warranty so if it's gonna spoil better spoil during this period (if spoil just after warranty ended means really bad luck, haha)

Actually I don't quite get how there are so many comments on iPhone consuming more data. I've been on a 2GB quota and have never exceeded it in the past three months since I switched from Android back to iOS. Makes me wonder how you guys consume data that fast? Streaming videos?

There are times I reach 80% usage with a week to go. Then I just exercise more restraints, haha. You use data at home too? I have WiFi at home which may explain my usage.

I play Candy Crush Saga on my phone but can't really feel it heating up. Then again I use a thick a$$ cover so maybe another reason why I don't feel it heating up. But something made of metal will heat up with prolonged usage, just need to see if the heat is abnormally high, then it's a cause for concern.

Assuming your phone is still under warranty, best go to an Apple service centre and get them to quote you. Then you may ask around elsewhere (maybe in our Garage Sale thread) to compare and see which option fits you best.

I've seen a shop in 1 Utama selling some Rock casings, but they're probably not very competitively priced given how expensive the rental at 1 Utama must be. It's called Cubix at the Lower Ground Floor. As you walk in the entrance, look on your bottom left for some shelfs with phone casings.
