also advise any drawback of installing a lighweight crack pulley. Does it cause balance issues. Is this valuable for long term as compare to the original pulley.

Hi,

By installing this pulley, you will gain more benefit on acceleration, rev is go up more easy.

Draw back:
You may harder and take longer time to reach top speed and engine rev will drop faster when you release pedal due to less momentum on the crankshalft.

Pulley is balanced, no issue ya. Hope this help

Thanks

Correct me if i am wrong.
the damper on the pulley comes by default on my car manufacturers whose function is to absorb the vibration caused by pulley/engine
no damper means engine might vibrate more than usual and cause failure in the long run. Damper is just a safety measure to prolong the engine/pulley life.

what do you think ?

Hi,

Yes of coz with dampened is best for your engine. Fyi, many modern car with small power or cc engine the stock pulley is non dampened too.

Thanks
