LP Toh (Wat Pradoochimplee) Phra Somdej Prok Pho Phim Lhang Kaw Sarn Dam BE2516 (2nd and 4th placing winner)

The consecration of this batch – Phra Somdej Prok Pho Phim Lhang Kaw Sarn Dam BE2516 was held on Sunday Saoha Day which was considered auspicious day to raise funds for the development and restoration of the temple. The black rice behind the amulet was given by a village leader from Kamphaeng Petch. These black rice were ancient and exceeded 1,000 years old. When LP Toh received this bag of ancient rice, he sat down to meditate. As he arose from his mediation, he announced that this bag of rice were of excellence in virtues (Koon Wee Set).

After that LP Toh departed for Wat Rakang to consult the senior monks on how to make the best use of the bag of ancient rice. At the end, they decided to use these rice as one of the holy materials to create 2 different phim of Phra Somdej; they are Phra Somdej Prok Pho Phim Lhang Kaw Sarn Dam and Phra Somdej Lhang Kaw Sarn Dam Than Singha. A total of 7, 500 pieces were produced for both phims and every piece was inserted with one black rice.
