Just a suggestion.. i personally think we (LYN) may need a separate subforum for casing/cooling/bli-bling and power supply in garage sale section... so we don't have to search in each pages in the garage section (30++ pages oledi..
this will ease the sellers and buyers for advertise and searching for these stuffs... just a suggestion.. thanks a lot... and apology if i put in a wrong section... |

We can consider amending 'CPU and Motherboards' to include this since its related in a way, and add the appropriate tags to facilitate easy searching.
Would you be amenable to that? |

So, the CPU & Motherboard sections is now renamed as CPU, Motherboards, Casings, PSUs...
Personally, i don't really like this changes... As now it seems more to a "Garage Sale" section... Don't know about the other guys too... No offence ya? I'm just giving my point of view... |

It is a Garage Sales section isn't it? They're all related items, and with the wonderful tagging system, you can search easily.

Maybe adding Printer and catridges related to existing sub-forum?
OR Create a new subforum like Computer Accessories ... There is mouse, mouse pad, network or any cables, network stuff, keyboard, printers, catridges, CDrw, CDr, DVDr, DVDrw, Modem, Modding tools, Fans, HDD Casing or cooler, ATX, Repair service or modding service, etc... Limiting a forummer for # of threads allowed to make sales? I see many people created a lot of threads all with different items but same category. Can just create a thread and name it like " My computer store ", " Accessories stuff ", etc... Once this forummer bump his/her thread.. Others all gone to second or third page.. Not fair for them.. this forum is growing rapidly and imagine what will happen to the forums/subforums and garage sales few years later.
obviously, a better alternative should be considered, tagging is... there are too many items in the world, can you tag 'em all? a general tag seems like will solve it, but it only applies to small quantity. maybe a tag in a tag? or a tag in a tag in a tag? just my two cents |

Amedion: The tag for those items are 'small accessories' in the general Garage Sales subforum itself. I don't think there's enough of those to warrant a new subforum yet, but with compulsary tagging, we'll know soon enough.
ahtiven: We'll deal with that when the time comes, but for now, I believe the tags are very sufficient for our demand. They are meant for enabling easy searching. Making a 'general tag' would definitely defeat the purpose of tags because then everyone could just dump everything there. If you have any suggestions as to what other tags we could include, I'll be pleased to add them in. |
