maybe this is just me but i think no matter how, you NEED to have an original MP10 from either Takara or Hasbro. It's like the Bible to a Christian (over exaggerating XD) but yeah, do source for it if you have the budget otherwise Weijiang's rendition would suffice. Although rendition is great but still, i don't think you'll get the same satisfaction.

luckily, my Ironhide turns out fine. i did not notice anything exceptionally tight and transformation has been mostly swift, simple and enjoyable to say the least XD i personally like how the chest part collapsed together though =P but the shoulder is a bit *mehhh*

well, i have both the UW Bruticus and UW Computron queuing in the pipeline and i'm collecting my MP Ratchet this coming week (i know, slowpoke.jpg) but really, I didn't started off collecting very much earlier but I already feel the pinch of the increase in price... dayuum~

you are right in respect of the Beast Wars. The only saving grace currently XD wasn't into the whole Beast War genre. I still remember watching it in the mornings on Metro Vision and I was like "heck~ why is Megatron a T-Rex and Optimus a Gorilla o_O?"

PO price is RM270.00 but I guess, you should be able to secure same at about RM300.00 but then again, there's no saying it will go higher or not when collectors get their hands on it.

This is a reasonably priced one taking into consideration that you are not "on-a-budget".

Few years back before I bought mine and Takara did not announce any reissue, I saw IT Toys retailing at RM1k -.-

:haha: for the sake of collection then of course the MPP10 is the wiser option however there is something lacking of not having the official thing especially when we are talking about OPTIMUS PRIME :hahaha: it's like the Ark of Covenant in Transformers' world.

I got a quote from my vendor and he said the RRP of POs should be around RM900+ because of the many accessories that comes with it. Initially, I was very interested in getting it when it was announced but after having informed of the price, I don't think I would spent so much on it. I think that price is just a little bit too much.

Yeap, seems like the quality here is a tad bit better than their Predaking release.

Joints are stronger, ratchets are tighter which makes transforming a hassle but is essential in the combined mode. Everything holds up perfectly.

yeap, RM300 for 5 figures (the last I checked) but I got it for RM270 cause PO price.

go look for Stan Macho.

Word of caution though, this comes without a box so what you will have is the figures and the loose parts in a seal transparent plastic bag. I don't really recommend buying it in this form because honestly, anything can happen during transit and while the plastic quality for these are decent but I don't think it could withstand any hard knocks and stuffs.

Anyway, just to share more =P

x2otoys confirmed for that price, it's loose =) if you want the box, need to add another RM30.00 i think

Oh! if RM250.00 is the price for the Box Set then it's still a tad cheaper because individual sellers in Klang Valley are hauling them at RM270.00.
