well, if hobby shops aren't getting their hands on these exclusives then you have no choice but to import them yourselves and courier companies don't really care if it's individual figures or with the box, they will place the figure in a box for you.
whatever it is, now is not the time to buy figures from the US. let's see if Takara will make an reissue. MYR to YEN is not that crazy.
what? by whole box i meant the whole wave's box, maybe 2 or 4 starscreams in one wave or something like that individual units as in one single starscream (INSIDE HIS BOX, if it wasn't clear enough)
i was just commenting that 150-180 shipping is rather high, but then again i only ship stuff from japan.. seems some stuff from US can incur about 50dollars worth of shipping, so fine, my mistake then
Takara actually had a Coronation Starscream reissue planned for Q1 2015, but it's been delayed indefinitely.
I've got a PO for it with Primo Collectibles. RM442.
Given what you found out about the loose Starscream, best bet is probably to wait for that one. Heck knows when it's coming though, even the seller can't give me an answer.
The price markups in Malaysia for retail pricing is partly due to the shipping costs etc, yes.. but it's also a price adjustment thing for what what they feel the market should pay for such items. Then places like TRU also just follow whatever RRP is set for a particular toy given whereas our specialty toy stores possibly take a lower profit margin etc etc.

Exactly what I'm trying to say. Shipping is actually just a small part of the markup. And all countries pay for shipping, even US. It's not like these toys are made in US, they're made in places like China and Vietnam, so if anything our shipping should be even cheaper since we're closer to those countries.
btw i'm letting fo of my UW-01 superion BIB coin-pack is a bit bengkok from shipping.. throwing in CW Alpha Bravo loose complet-ish (no manual/car) for rm 300 if anybody interested.

this is my optimus prime revenge of the fallen model action figure
WOAH! what the hell happened to its face and other parts of the body with black paint? looks burned.

Guys, saw the Combiner Wars Devastator at TRU at RM800. Anywhere else cheaper?
All hobby shops are cheaper than TRU, by at least RM150.00 but the problem is that for now, priorities are given to those who pre-ordered as the stocks that came in are a little bit limited. a restocking should come soon.

haha, that's the point!! it's originally painted like that, even there is other scratching marks around his lower legs......
like i say previously, these paintings are taken directly from revenge of the fallen optimus prime version to make him looked more injured and damage in battle
