well, its a sad fact that scholarships are based more on race than your results here.
but if you're going to UK, prices of musical stuff there are very expensive.

there are quite a few ppl here writing songs for taiwan artists.
how the rest make it? good looks. tho some do look ugly, so i wonder too. maybe they're pretty good at getting down on their knees. sad case for malaysian industry that to make it big here, you have to make it big outside first. like all malaysians, wanna tumpang glamor only. but is this guy going to study music? then your spm trial results means crap to get a scholarship. you need to prove that you deserve a music scholarship, and that means playing etc etc, references and all. europe has wacken and monsters of rock
US obviously has more concerts etc, plus the US education system lets you take diff subjects to fill up stuff. i've taken music courses to fill up credits, plus the sports courses are a nice break. the UK and aussie system is abit strict, in that you must follow the guidelines on what subject they recommend to take etc etc. This post has been edited by Everdying: Oct 11 2006, 02:23 AM |
