QUOTE(horns @ Apr 23 2015, 03:21 PM) update: samsung magician 4.6 is out, but you cannot get it now for some reasons :/ Magician version 4.6 features a number of improvements over version 4.5: - New model support : 850 EVO mSATA, 850 EVO M.2 - Advanced Performance Optimization feature for 840 EVO; New firmware is required to use Advanced Performance Optimization - Update Magician GUI and Help file edit: it's up applied the firmware update (only for sata version, not msata version), then the advanced performance feature will appear. when you run the advanced performance feature, it's best to leave the machine alone. everything will become slow during the optimization process. it will take some time to complete. thanks bro.. damn samsung.. "We apologize for your inconvenience Please try again within 24 hours" btw can you upload it to other hosting? This post has been edited by air_pull91: Apr 24 2015, 01:03 AM

QUOTE(air_pull91 @ Apr 24 2015, 10:56 PM) do let me know if you want.. LOL haha thanks i normally use tools like crystal diskinfo or hdd guardian for reference. it's easier to find comparable results online. to me i just use the ssd as usual, with some system optimizations. at the rate based on these smart information, it will outlast my system easily. edit: ho ho ho 128gb (8x 16gb) quad channel ddr4 was announced by g.skill! I kinda confuse between the two. they are different imo but still under the family of L9S. i suspect the L9S as advertised at liteonit.com is for oem (model number: LCS-256L9S), while S900 is for retail (model number: SCS-256L9S) S900 is slightly faster. (comparisons: L9S vs. S900)

QUOTE(pakji @ Apr 26 2015, 12:12 AM) ohh its ok i waiting someone buy ssd i need money good luck on your sale. if i were you i just keep them for own use. the new firmware updade and advanced performance mode in magician 4.6 is most likely the right remedy for the short comings of 840 evo.
