Hi, currently trying out Starcraft 2 starter edition , and almost complete downloading the game client, already past the OPTIMAL stage which allows me to try the game.

So here is my question :

1. Should i Upgrade and buy both, 34.99 USD ? or just WoL = 19.99 USD ?

2. Does Wings of Liberty still has players for Match making in SEA region ?

3. Is it normal to suffer some spike and lags during the Not-Yet-Complete-Downloaded Client ? Resolutions are not changed and touched by any means. My PC has a moderate specs which should be able to cope.

Legacy of the void is stand alone.. Buy that and you basically have more than both the previous expansions. Unless you want to know every single detail of the story line of course..

Hello smile.gif Welcome to sc2!

Answers to your questions
1. Get the bundle.. not really any point getting just wings

2. No WoL is dead and nobody plays it anymore you'd have a hard time finding a game even on different regions now. There are players for hots in the sea region but mostly lower leaguers.. anyone who is more serious/better at the game plays on the different servers mostly KR and NA

3. If you haven't downloaded the whole game yet then yes that certainly is a possibility

If you could get a WoL + HotS bundle, I suggest that you do so so you could start learning the game (we have a weekly practice group that you could join in). I checked Bnet just now and the bundle is only US$34.99 after US$5 discount.

You could wait til LotV comes and the bundle could be discounted further, but LotV may not arrive until late 2015 or early 2016.

For #3 though, download the full game first before playing it. While you could definitely play it when you've hit "Optimal", I recommend not playing yet because there is a possibility that it would corrupt your game files and you would need to reinstall/redownload again. It happened to me before, so yeh, good luck.

hi caddy welcome to Starcraft 2! biggrin.gif
I'm actually curious that there's a new player coming. and was wondering why. as this game is being quite some time.

and btw, not to promote, I'm having a new WoL account, just slightly opened in game, looking for a new owner, where I bought it last time online during Blizzard's promo as a spare for my new 'friend' to play with me, but ended up Blizzard announced starter edition to be able to play all races in custom game, and finally Spawning feature (SE / WoL players party with HotS players will be able to play HotS edition together), hence, my 2nd account turns into dusts. sad.gif

So if you are serious would like to start to play Starcraft 2 (and best if get HotS), then can buy from me? I'll compensate and give you the promo price $15 instead of $19.99 (to cover the $34.99 promo), it will be about +/- RM54, I'll give you RM50 for easy counting.
It's actually possible to transfer to you as Blizzard allows change of email, player in-game name, and do the upgrade to HotS! and we can play together! biggrin.gif

Hey... Have you bought it yet??? If you are interested I. Playing online with others.. There is a way you don't have to buy the game... Other player maybe a friend or 2 of your or maybe me.. I can spawn player... Means you just need the starter edition. And spawning is like recruit you into my party and you can access to play with other online. Unless you wanna play the campaign, then get the wok and hots
