now mikel age getting older. willian & oscar depend form one. sometimes will run out of water. agreed willan quite hard-working. i prefer play ramires & matic. no need rely on fab. oscar can be starting 11.
*
i can't brain the one in bold...

fab is just 27 years old wei.. why suddenly placed him on bench for next season and change him with the headless chicken ramires? even oscar cannot replace fab IMO. oscar is good, but still very young. and obviously he is not a big game player. whenever big game is coming, he is either missing (benched) or out of form. this is very typical of him already..

assist only can consider lucky. let see next season how fab perform. i personally prefer pogba which mou can make him at least double doubles. even i hate fab, i still picked him on my fantasy. fab look weak to me sorry no offense for fab fanboy. i'm not keen on such player at all. mou like to play narrow so he need a player to feed costa & oscar can do the job well so get rid fab while he still got market & let ginkel or romeu play.
*
wow dude.. not sure what happen between you and fabregas but your statement have a lot of if(s)..

ginkel was with us last season, same with romeu. both is good no doubt. and both is also injury prone. you do not want your star player resting on the treatment bench much of the season and then start saying other team is lucky because they got no injuries. it is by choice we need to get a player who can go through EPL which is known for its physicality. personally, i don't think romeu and ginkel have a future at this club. they are like marin, moses etc. bought cheap so that we can develop them, and sell at later stages for some profit. is this a harsh comment? yes, but this is the reality. the club need to generate money to buy other player in the future, be it for investment or to mount a challenge for trophy.

i do not agree with an assist is seen as a luck. if that so, then the way people score goals is also luck. the way a GK make a save can also be a luck. in fact, most of the things that happen in football can be consider as luck. rather, i see assist as the player's ability to pick-up a good pass to his team mate to get a goal or, a good chance to get a goal. not many people can do this consistenty. example is during a corner. terry just make a header but it went off course but somehow, the ball falls to costa and costa put it behind the net. goal is counted for costa, and assist is counted for terry. this is luck. but do you see anything under fabregas assist that falls under this same scenario? no.

why speak about pogba when he is not even with us? are you sure pogba will join us next season? fab is already here, doing really fine and suddenly you want to ditch him..

why compare fab's ability to score goals with the likes of costa and oscar when he play much deeper than them? fab is here to unlock defense, so that team mates can get a go on goals and let be fair to him, he does that really well. why don't you compare how many goals JM scored while in chelsea? stupid right? because JM is here to manage the team, win games, win trophies. it is weird if you want to compare how deep a camel can dive compared to a whale...

QUOTE(Ichighost @ Mar 10 2015, 06:18 AM)
Diego Forlan on Jose:

"Ive never been at a club where the players talked so much about a previous manager as they did about Jose Mourinho at Inter," Forlan wrote in The National.

"I arrived only a year after he had left, but the club worked through four managers in little over a year."

"Mourinho had left Inter as the treble winners: champions of Europe and Italys league and cup, but none of his successors came close to matching his achievements."

"It wasnt just the players who loved him, everyone at the club did. I was told that the door was always open for his return."

"For so many players to speak so well about a manager is a surprise but players want to work for Mourinho."

"Not only does he win trophies players feel he supports them, protects them from pressure and shields them from criticism by taking it on himself."

"Its not a problem that he has a big personality that can be good taking attention away from the players."

"With Serie A slipping behind the English and Spanish leagues, Inter needed him more than he needed them. He had a lot of support and he was very successful."

"He got some criticism for the defensive way in which his Inter team played against Barca, but what else could he do? Barca had better players but Mourinho got the result."

"He had no temptation to be remembered like the Brazil team of 1982, a beautiful side which didnt win anything."

the bolded part is the most important thing. no need to play super attractive when the result is not there. football is a tactical game and tactics need to suit the scenario. you need to properly assessed your squad, what is the team's strengths and weaknesses and then compare that to your opponent. opponent is much weaker - why not we play with 5 strikers? opponent is too good - why not play with a triple decker bus parked?

results is what matter most.

honestly, i think JM shot himself on the foot with the waaay too negative tactics. this seriously had gone from bad to worst.. i dont really mind playing like this with the like of barca, real madrid or bayern. but are against PSG who is down to 10 men for god's sake..

we totally deserve the result. totally deserve that. and JM as the manager really have to take the blame. he put no urgency in the team, forced nobody to do nothing and played so negatively in the 120 minutes..

what a disgrace considering the amount of talent that we got and the amount of luck that we had in this game.

We are obviously struggling pretty bad out there.. The defenders are spread galaxies apart while defending and tge attackers cant even string some oasses neatly.. From my observation, I think the players trying too hard to impress after the dismal display against PSG.

Very tough game but I expect a lot more from the team. 6 points lead with a game in hand.

Fabregas was exceptionally poor. Missed passes everywhere.
Hazard although a joy to watch, I personally think he hold the ball far too long when other player, especially Costa is already wanting the vall to be delivered early.
Matic trying hard to make an impact and should count himself lucky not to be red carded.
Oscar is still loss in his ownself. Totally annonymous in 1st half and little contribution in the 2nd half.

I hate to say this, Cuadrado is looking to be the new Wright-Phillips for us. This is surely the gamble we take buying a player from Serie A. Certainly got the speed but not the brain.

QUOTE(KidsCode @ Mar 15 2015, 11:40 PM)
For me on the game, I put it that we unlucky to win to the game. Yes, we did badly on the first half and too bad Southampton didnt capitalize on that.

CFC go all out on the 2nd half, so many shot on target just didnt go in, 1 is Foster in form on that. So overall we did good. I want to see it in the positive side. You would say that we will not last againts that team and this team, but by that time comes, we see on that.

We all know Southampton have a good defensive records as us, and I also expect they do the same on the top 7 opponents. Still lead with 6 points and a game in hand. Not bad at all.

I like the positive-ness of this post and I hope when I woke up tomorrow morning, I will have the same feeling as this.

agree on the 20m price tag for Cech. that should be the bare minimum price we should accept for him. among all the possible suitors (city, arsenal, real, spurs, liverpool, PSG, etc), none come close to the assurance Cech can provide you, except maybe on Sirigu.

i would be really glad if we can milk up to 35m for club that want him. that would be a really superb business.

however, deep down, i really wish he will stay.

if RM come knocking the door for Cech, why not gambling with a 35m price hehe

agree RM is the most suitable destination for cech, befitting his stature. PSG is also ok but considering they already breached FFP this season, i dont think they will go full retard to get cech next season? please let him play outside of EPL.. i do not wish to sim him in other color like lampard and mata..

is there any similar rule applies to la liga, bundesliga, seria A and etc? because if none, i think english team would not be competitive in european front.. imagine going into the CL with english player zzz... surely there are some quality players but to find one is really hard..

thanks guys for the answers to my question. wasn't aware about the HG rules on other league besides EPL. but i think we are in good shape right should the new rule be implemented for next season? we can still make clearance from the current squad to free up some slot for the HG players.

QUOTE(yokoloco @ Apr 3 2015, 12:49 PM)
Sounds interesting. But I doubt Mourinho will sell Ramires..
*
i think he will.. ramires is like a shadow of himself as compared to last season. that is why he get lesser playing time this season. his chances to play gets lesser with addition of fabregas but he still can compete with willian on the RW berth. however, the addition of cuadrado over there suggest that he might be a surplus at the moment.

i think the current dispensable player (according to form) is oscar, ramires and mikel. 2 of these 3 need to go to comfortably fund the buying of a new player plus, there is rumours last time about the new regulation that limit the number of foreign player or something.. so, need to be careful on this as well. if i were in charge, i'll let go ramires+oscar for the extra money or oscar+mikel to free up some foreign player quota.

buuttt.. come to think of it, i don't think we really need pogba though. what we really need is someone to shoulder the playmaking role. and if oscar does leave, we are really thin on the AM position. so, with the funds that we got from cech+oscar+mikel, we might actually go for KOKE? i put mikel because deep down, i think ramires still much useful is a lot of occasions compared to mikel hehe
