man city always struggling..arsenal never pass this satge for a while now..haha they went to final once but that was way before we even won the big ear cup (this is what mondo want to hear) hahaha

what i meant was i don't think both team was ever going to advance past this quarter finals.
both hard to comeback with 1st leg results. Chelsea had the best chance, but yeah, we screwed it up.

Yeah, no doubt that the English League quality is deteriorating at European level. I believe it has something to do with the downfalls of MU and Liverpool, which have the best records in European level than any other English team. City is pretty new and yet too reach that level, Arsenal as usual inconsistent, while Chelsea is also still developing new set players.

While it feels good watching your rivals fails, deep down inside I would like to see the rise of old Liverpool & MU again for the sake of English league > others league debate.

Total Agreed to that. That's An Era which cant forget. Furthermore those days most of the EPL Teams players are Home grown players compare to now hmm.gif hmm.gif

When comes to EPL Games, i will strongly support my own team. But when comes to European Competition, I will support All EPL Teams who ever they are. icon_rolleyes.gif

Valdes can sit there and chillax.Rot on the bench while enjoying the money he gets for being our keeper for 14 more months. laugh.gif

Imagine a club with 3 world class GKs.Inb4 the manager gives each 1 competition to play in. laugh.gif

but it's a gud thing too. Having a GK that is capable to slot into any team to be as ur 2nd keeper. It'll keep De Gea and Courtois on their toes, knowing that they have another proven keeper at their back waiting to pounce on their mistakes.

I agree.

Don't wanna have 1 world class GK and then the back-up would be an inexperienced 18 year old. doh.gif

but pity youngsters like Ben Amos la. I recall he was quite promising. But now in front of him there is De Gea, Lindegaard and Valdes. sweat.gif

I think with the Cech problems, don't think he can stay another season with us to play 2nd fiddle to Thibaut, but I'm happy because he's professional and all the best to him to whatever club he chose to play next. A new GK would be good, someone not as high profile.
