Iinm, earlier diz season there was an article in WAGNH blog on how Oscar's role has evolved with the arrival of Fab. That Oscar is more of a defensive playmaker coz he tracks bak a lot n stuff.
But when things are not going Fab's way. I still hope we can rely on Oscar. Hope Oscar can regain his form and reduce the burden on Fab's creativity. Maybe 4141 when we are chasing game? Matic; Hazard, Oscar, Fab, Willian. Sometimes u juz gotta focus on attack to win d game. |

I'm impress with his mentality. Let's hope they can go through for the sake of English football or he will have to eat his words back and their fans have to stay in gua for the rest of the week.

QUOTE(kucingmainan @ Mar 16 2015, 12:44 AM) I dont mind we play defensive but the thing is our bus is not as strong as the 1st jose coming....cahill and terry are both slow and do not complement each other well....The days of terry & gallas or terry & carvalho defensive walls are behind us.... Since defense is not really our forte right now better we play a more balanced game |

Well. Looking back at the highlights. I think S'ton really did a gud job in the 1st half. 1st half we were totally overplayed by them. But 2nd half we did improve and created a lot of chances. But still Fab's performance in 2nd half is still not gud enuff. Maybe we're too spoiled by his earlier season performance. I guess even gud players have their off days too. Oscar 1st half oso damn poor, 2nd half improves a bit with his header and shot.

QUOTE(hakbu @ Mar 16 2015, 01:15 PM) yup man, many players looks a bit jaded as tho they just got landed after 18 hrs long flight.Hazard was amazing with his dribbling but seems afraid to try his luck from distance. Trying too hard to find space, eventually dispossessed by Soton defenders. This is when i miss Lamps |

Amazing game last night... the game can easily swing both ways... Soton can win it in a flash because Mane is superb... and our team didn't take the chance when we had it... Soton defending with 2 line... and their keeper superbly save whatever sink we threw at him... Terry could have won it for us... So does Oscar's header... and so does Hazard's followup... we are just unlucky... but the game is played in very very high tempo... I think this kind of game suits our midfielder... but not our striker... And our defense is shaky during high tempo game... only Cahill have the legs... Terry doesn't have the legs anymore... even Iva is caught off guard several times... The only set back is Matic had to be sub to protect him from getting another yellow which will lead to 2 match ban... If not, we might win the game. Agree with some of the comments here. Fab is poor... so does Oscar and so does Willian.... too predictable...
