i think i did mention it above, these ads were accepted on a 1 week trial basis, which we had to honour. We already made the decision not to accept these type of ads long before they were activated on the site. This would be the first and last time these ads are used.

when the motorola ads pops up, you click to close it mah...i did that and that didn't interfere with my browsing in LYN although i must admit, it's slower than usual...

sometimes my firefox gets this warning message about a script not responding or something . only happened after the motorola ad came

if it happens again i'll post up a screenie

yeah i got that message about a script too but i dunno if that have to do with the ads...


--problem solved..install adblock plus no more weird thing happen...thank fariz

Oddly enough the ad works fine in my Musang Api. Sure, it gets in the way, but it obediently goes back to it's "kennel" when I click "close".

what's happening to me is that i can click the lowyat link but not kopitiam etc links.. why ah ?

Lowyat.NET -> Front Desk -> Main Site/Forum Feedback and Helpdesk

you'll see something like the above, the areas below the advert will be blocked.

Seriously, i never occur this kinda problem, was using FireFox from the begining.
Do you all use theme for your FireFox?
I'm using a custon theme and everything turn out nicely for me since the first day.

i think it's good for me. my computers do NOT have macromedia installed , so it helps me NOT surf LYN during uni.

what to do if the ad doesnt load and all you see is a white box?

Experience the same issue with the DIGI ad on the main page.

I couldn't click on the most recent topics till the 9th topic.

Any solutions as yet?
