I install Huawei health on my Samsung S9. Working well. Can Samsung health add Huawei devices? Cause Huawei health can only add Huawei & Honor devices.

Sorry, which one are u talking about? Stratos 3?
If you want to consider Xiami Mi Watch .

about 1 month old.
but im not sure it suits ur requirements or not. definitely cheaper than the fruit watch.

Also, the latest TicWatch also have a LTE capability (?? not sure).
*
I am considering xiaomi watch too. But where to buy? Do any telco provided plan for xiaomi watch? Thank you

Pls beware that Mi Watch is rather "Big/Thick" in size, imo.

for telco, isnt maxis or Digi should have duplicate(sim) suit for the purpose?
*
Too big will not accepted. Haha

Duplicate sim? How much to pay for duplicate sim? If i bought samsung active 2 watch lte veraion from singapore, can get that esim to use on Digi or maxis? I coulnd find that info on their website. Only found DigiAir Sim for Digi and previous huawei watch de esim from maxis. Where did i miss? Thank you

Don't think we know the answer to that yet for now so I would say it is a gamble. Maybe one thing worth trying is changing CSC but the model number is different. Samsung Pay for Malaysia have a specific supported model and CSC combo. As long as Malaysia doesn't have official SKU for it then finding the CSC would be difficult as well
*
Thanks for comments, btw what is CSC?

As refer to https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-watch/carrier/

For galaxy watch LTE

Looks like US watch LTE model not compatible with Malaysia Telco band . China, Korea, Australia watch LTE model have the same band with Malaysia Telco? (Band 1, 3, 7....)

Am I right? Please correct me. Tq

Some ppl call CSC as country specific code. It is a file stored as part together with modem, firmware and bootloader that contains Telco, country info and also plays a role in OTA distribution. So let's say the US watch3 has same model number, modem but different CSC, then a flash of the CSC is able to make it compatible in some instance. Case by case basis, sometimes doesn't work for certain models.

Sorry can't help on the bands compatibility. Guess only way to find out is after Malaysia release the SKU or someone got a US LTE unit then try it out here

I see. thanks for sharing. +LIKE

Hi, I am also thinking of getting a Singapore Galaxy Watch Lte version but so far haven't read anyone successfully used it with Msia Telco esim...
*
ya, me too. unless got friends in Sg is using samsung lte watch, only can get help from them try active eSim in Malaysia. Technically should be work because my friend bought xiaomi mi watch from HK/China can activate AirSim (nunmbershare) at Maxis centre. But no dare to try, because galaxy watch no cheap if unable to active eSim with Malaysia Telco.

if Apple watch in Malaysia can use family Share (to active eSIm and some funtion) for non iphone user, i will consider grab one. Just worry about battery life, apple stated tat onnly 14 hours battery life for family share watch.

Yeah, unfortunately, there isn't much info on using esim on the Galaxy Watch outside supported countries. Some said can register the esim while some said cannot.. well, i guess have to wait patiently for Samsung Malaysia to officially launch their Galaxy Watch LTE in Msia... biggrin.gif

Yup, and maybe i will change my mind to buy an apple watch ad. So hard and sad to wait for Samsung Malaysia.

I went to shopping mall last weekend, try the watch 3, it is beautiful and smooth! Haiz, no eSim support

Galaxy Watch 3 is a nice watch although a little pricey... i am now using Watchmaker app on my Galaxy Watch (without LTE) with custom watchface and the simple Always on Display.. Superb setup as i can see the time when the watch is in Dimmed mode and the best thing is the app is smart enough to turn off AOD when the watch is not worn...
My battery life is around 3-4 days with this setup..  rclxm9.gif

The battery life really great! If eSim model can life for 2-3 days, will great too. Samsung ah Samsung Malaysia, do you hear me? I am believe many people waiting for eSim model like me too....

Can any sifu here recommend any smart watches with fall detection?
Thinking to buy one for my parents

currently only samsung galaxy watch (active 2/3??), and apple watch SE can consider if paired with iPhone. for fall detection, better with eSim support.

samsung galaxt watch 3 LTE untill today no update from samsung.

I hope the LTE can activate with any telco that support eSIM. NOT just Maxis, Digi and Celcom like apple watch.
