This is really unbelievable: http://www.lowyat.net/2015/03/huawei-watch...tail-at-rm3655/

"The Huawei Watch is arguably one of the best-looking Android Wear device that has been unveiled. However, if this rumour is any indication of its retail price, even its good looks will not justify such a massive price tag. According to a source, the Huawei Watch will allegedly cost a whopping US$1000 (about RM3,655)...

What do you guys think?
*
The source is from BGR, which as some of you might know, is heavily biased towards Apple.

We have heard that the Huawei Watch price is $1,000

So much for good journalism. I'm betting the price will be around USD199 to USD249

Guys,

That USD1000 price will most probably be for their premium version. The normal ones should sell at normal prices, otherwise they will not be able to sell. Hauwei is no Apple, for sure.

For the sake of comparison, here are leaked price for Apple Watch. Their cheapest model is way more expensive than any of Android Wear watch.

It's looks really nice.
Mind to share where you got it from and the damage?
Thanks

From my trusted ebay seller, supercosmos from Korea.

When I bought it the price is cheaper that Google Play Store price, around USD299 (Google Play price is USD349). Now the price has increased a bit.

Bought it with screen protector and extra charging cradle, total with shipping with EMS is about RM1.4k. Cheaper than Expansys (RM1.6k)

My short and sweet review of Lg G Watch Urbane.

user posted image

- Battery life is on par with LG G Watch R (GWR), which is good, but not as good as Sony SW3 and Pebble.
- Thinner bezel and not as thick as GWR, which is good as well.
- Although same display tech with GWR, but the font is a bit smaller and sharper, a plus for me.
- Build quality and finish is very premium, no more geek looking watch. (although the stainless steel polish is a bit finger print magnet for oily fingers).
- Already updated to latest Android Wear 5.1.1, so already test WIFI syncing, which is really useful, but i didn't test how much it drained the battery compared to bluetooth only connection.
- AW 5.1.1 also streamlined the app menu, no more need to scroll down to click "Start" just to run app.
- "Flick to see next notification" also very useful, especially during driving.

Hi bro, is there any additional cost example sirim or kastam need to pay ?
i thinking to buy one but dont know want  to buy from ebay or expansys or others. thank you
*
Nothing, I didnt need to pay anything to SIRIM or Custom, the seller declare this as Wrist Watch, which dont need for both.

Unless they declare it electronic, or smartwatch or mobile stuff then maybe you need to pay for SIRIM, but so far you didnt need to pay for customs if that is the case as well.

I used to buy stuffs from expansys, but after one bad experience buying moto360 from them (not because of the price but the delay), i moved to ebay.

Great to hear that, hope the process (the waiting part is the killing one) will be smooth sailing. Shipping via EMS from Korea will take approx. 3-5 days to reach to your doorstep.

Huawei watch should able to take down at least GWR and possibly Zenwatch  smile.gif  once released.

My only concern about Huawei Watch is its smaller than Moto360 battery that need to power it's very high resolution screen.
