That's a good price, but maybe if including shipping, maybe also same as local price already.

hey guys, i just bought a moto360 2nd gen yesterday and I've been having loads of fun. However, I'm having trouble updating my Android wear to version MEC23G. At first it said charge to upgrade, so i charged it to 100%, but now i keep getting error downloading and asking me to try again. any ideas?

I've tried asking in the moto360 thread, but it's not been very active lately sad.gif

my build version is: LLA44S

Try reset the watch, also make sure it's connected to your phone ( else it cant download )

it's connected to my phone, made sure it's next to the watch and then made sure the watch was charged to 100%. I'll try doing a factory reset and see whether that helps. Thanks!

Have been using it for 1 week. Here provide some hands on feedback.

Pros
1. The screen is looks vivid. Definitely meet my expectation. Plenty of watch face apps to play around.
2. Very classs look, the gold bezel bring out the luxury and class look.
3. Very good speaker when play music. Clear and loud.
3. Mic on watch was good so far when use inside car, but speaker phone is loud but a bit not too clear (will monitor further)
4. all notification from phone able to sync with ZW3 seamlessly. Whatapps, fb, exchange, gmail, gemfive, lazada and etc.
5. Vibration of notification is adequate, however is acceptable level.
6. Wrist gesture work well during driving, to have a glance on notification such as whatapps/email. You could navigate between home screen, view notification, back and forth, scroll through wrist gesture.

Cons:
1. Very soft leather and thin in my opinion. Not sure if this leather really as indicate as good leather. Would like to know where to get gunmetal metal strap.
2. Battery life is just okay. around 1 day and half. However quick charge has compromise this.
3. Gesture to turn on the screen, sometimes it doesn't show up if i doesn't twist my wrist enough.
4. I couldnt found a way to reply whatapps message via keyboard, only through google voice recognition.
5. On google voice in android wear, i dunno why some word recognition success rate is so weak, maybe 50% can recogize. During driving, when wrong voice recognize into text, it will auto send after 3-4 second.
Using my Note 4, most of the words able to recognize.
6. Using google maps on watch, it will eventually need to have GPS turn on on Phone, it will trigger google maps on phone, from open apps to navigate, take about 30 sec.

Android Wear 2.0 is coming in Feb!!!

https://www.droid-life.com/2017/01/11/andro...ear-20-release/

Also, there seems to be recent confirmation of the existing watches that would receive the update:

http://www.androidauthority.com/android-we...watches-737740/

Google revealed the current list of smartwatches slated to get the Android Wear 2.0 update via an article on The Verge:

Moto 360 (2nd Gen.)
Moto 360 Sport
LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition LTE
LG Watch Urbane
LG G Watch R
Polar M600
Casio Smart Outdoor Watch
Nixon Mission
Tag Heuer Connected
Fossil Q Wander
Fossil Q Marshal
Fossil Q Founder
Michael Kors Access Bradshaw Smartwatch
Michael Kors Access Dylan Smartwatch
Huawei Watch
Huawei Watch Ladies
Asus ZenWatch 2
Asus ZenWatch 3
It’s important to note that the 2.0 update will likely be rolled out for these watches throughout 2017, rather than all at once.

I already got the update and so far AW 2.0 is smooth but somehow make things hard to read the notification. Kinda of a mixed result for me. Just follow this instruction, no need to wait for OTA to come. https://www.reddit.com/r/moto360/comments/6..._is_up_to_date/

did it yesterday and loving AW2.0!!! battery life seems to be better for me somehow too.

Some of the watches dropped from support include the ASUS ZenWatch 2 and 3, the original Fossil Q Founder, the LG G Watch R/Urbane/Urbane LTE, the second-gen Moto 360 and 360 Sport, and the original Huawei Watch. Those watches will continue to get Android Wear updates (like the recent v2.6 update) through the Play Store, but the underlying Android version will be stuck on Nougat.

did anyone get the an update for Wear OS for the moto360 gen 2? I got it and updated it, but now it's behaving really weird; it never seems to drop lower than 90% but then abruptly dies - then when i charge, it starts with 96%. i never had this problem until the latest update. anyone else have this problem?
