If you're ok with smartwatch OS that may or may not get useful/timely update, and with limited apps, gear S2.

Anything else, Android Wear OS is still better, so zen watch 2 for me    ( if can accept the size and square display )

but the pricing doesnt justify that. similar gen 5 watch with older design, like the julianna cosr RM200 to RM300 lesser.

I'm using 4th gen Fossil AW, no issue on battery. I dont think there's significant difference between most AW, they have similar SOC and relatively small battery. Fossil group owns many many watch brand ( or licensed to make watch for them ), so internally similar.
What I notice that got difference are mediatek SOC have better battery life, but can notice lower performance.

The honor magic watch 2 has either already gotten the spO2 scan or is going to get it soon.

If u want to look at a more affordable fossil smartwatch, u can take a look at the fossil sport. It costs around 560.

Well that's almost accurate, most AW only last 8-10 hours in real life. One day battery life is normal.

better apps support, better notification, better function ( reply, voice support etc ? ), better OS update.

With more power ( functionality ), use more power ( energy ) 

Take a look at skagen falster 2. It's a subsidiary company of fossil. Much similar to honor and Huawei.

The sf2 is equivalent to the fossil gen 4 in terms of its specs. So similar to the gen 4, its not a recommended buy (based on plenty of reviews).

If you are looking at smartwatch at around RM600 to RM700, I highly recommend galaxy watch active 2. Overall its quite the complete package.

Going for looks alone, I will take the skagen falster 2. Battery then Huawei and honor.

Bear in mind also the above mentioned sf2 and watch active 2 uses a 20mm straps, which is not as common as a 22mm straps in the market. And for some, slightly less musculine than the 22mm one used on the Huawei watch.

You can also look at the tic watch lineup.

Or if you are into gshock rugged look, take a look at the amazfit t-rex. Other than this model, the amazfit has plenty of selection all below the RM700 range.

Also, take a look at oppo watch. You can find import set at shopee. Priced slightly higher at RM900, but pack with plenty of features.

Mobvoi ticwatch arent bad, I bought during kickstarter campaign, they have few successful project and several generation/model of AW product already.
Their latest Ticwatch Pro looks good ( muscular large ), dual mode display for up-to-30-days battery life. My two AW upgrade choice will be Ticwatch Pro and Fossil gen 5.

Another recommendation from above post, Skagen Falster 3 is good looking choice.

Not easy to recommend AW anymore, lesser choice with more manufacturer left. Half-ass effort from Google, half-ass effort from SOC, near-non-existence sales.
Apple single-handed ( 50% market share ) defeat all non-Apple smartwatches/fitness type combined   

IMO, somehow price reflect product quality. Those over rm1k smartwatches ( TicWatch Pro, Galaxy Watch, Fossil, Apple ) have good review from website.
