Does anyone have insight info reharding when zenwatch 2 will be started selling in Malaysia? Although the news said it will come at the end of Jan. Until now, still no follow ups. Planning to buy one before CNY.

Bought my first android wear - Zenwatch 2 from satu gadget today. I think I was the first customer to buy the watch from there since the salesman was a bit blur when I was asking him some questions.

Apparently they only bring in the leather starp and metal strap. 3 different types of W501Q (the bigger one) and 1 type only for W502Q (the smaller one). All types are RM 699 except the metal strap, which will be RM 899.

Ya, it's the bigger one. And yes, all sizes RM 699 except the metal strap. But as I said previously, the staff were still blur blur due to the new arrival. I did ask them if there's a smaller size avaialable. They answered me there's no smaller size.
Anyway, I didn't plan to buy the small size, so I didn't ask further.

And no. They do not have display unit for Zenwatch 2. But they do have LG watch, Asus Vivo watch and some other to show. I think it's because the watch is still new in Malaysia. Perhaps they will have the display unit after CNY.

Yes it comes with speaker at the back.

The battery can last one whole day, depends on how you manage it. But I heard it needs a few charging cycle to get better. So I will wait and see.

Wait until after CNY. I believe the display unit will be appeared at Plaza Lowyat very soon. Go to the All It Hypermarket and the Asus store there.

As for the size, I think it should be fine for men. My wrist is not large, its about 6 and 1/2 inch , and the watch is completely fit to the wrist. Not like the other round face watches. No matter how you shake your hand, the Zenwatch won't move around the wrist. The watch face cover completely the entire upper wrist. Very comfortable.


Can't complain much at this price. The only thing I rant about is the limited choices and colors of bands. I don't know why they don't bring in the rubber band. It's not that I dislike the leather band. But as we knew, leather band's condition will become worse as days go by. especially when it comes to sweat, water and rain. Metal strap may be an alternative. But extra 200 bucks for only a metal band, it seems a little bit too much.

No problem bro. I checked my wrist. Mine is also about 6 inch (6.2-3). So ya, the bigger size will suit you. Furthermore, if you plan to play a lot on your smartwatch, bigger size is better for swiping. Trust me. The bigger size will give you better user experience.

After a long wait, finally received my Gear S3 frontier ordered through 11street. Everywhere is out of stock including the online platform. The classic version still got stocks though.

Updated to Tizen 3.0. So far so good. The screen, the speed, the functions, everything is much better than my Zenwatch 2.

Currently playing with the watch faces from the Galaxy store. Any good recommendation from the sifus in here?

AFAIK, the LTE version Gear S3 already been released long time ago. However, SME didn't plan to bring it into Malaysia.

Personally I prefer the frontier version. It's bigger, bolder, more "manly" feeling.

Not to mention that now we have Tizen 3.0 update, we have most of the same features from Gear Sport. So no regret in here.
