Well good to know at least we're not dealing with foreign currency here even though the price right now is heavily influenced by it.

Planning to get the classic too. Already looking for bands, seems like dark brown leather would suit the watch better

What about the LG watch urbane? 2nd gen is not here yet though. Not sure about pricing yet but the 1st version doesn't seem to exp in comparison w s2.

Nope it doesn't have an power adaptor, i have no idea who in their right mind would sell/give a charger without a power adapter zzz

Luckily i had some spare micro USB cables left and could plug it to charge with my computer, not sure what consequences would be doing so though (slower charging/ bad for watch etc?)

I absolutely love playing with my new gear S2 classic but there's a few issues i hope addressed, perhaps I had too much expectations and read too much review as this is my first smartwatch

1. The apps. It felt that there is a potential for so much more for this watch limited by the choices of apps which is even worse when it comes to use non-samsung phones in Malaysia.

2. The gesture to turn on. Well it's more of hit and miss thing to turn it on with gesture. Did i miss out anything on turning on something with "always on" that shows the actual watch face rather than reducing it to the two hands whenever it's not at the 'right' angle?

3. It seems to be well known to be very inaccurate with tracking the steps you take.

That's just some minor setbacks against plenty of perks with this watch, that gorgeous looking design, the sharp display, that amazing rotating bezel with it's clicking feel and so on. Hoping for rapid software updates!

Thanks for the app recommendation! now i'll be hoping for messenger, whatsapp, insta and twitter apps which social watch barely satisfies.
