i see reviews, they all show only the gunmetal has it...silver and rosegold like normal buckle only.
then i see garage sales here, someone selling gunmetal and it only comes with regular buckle.
so ya, really no idea.

QUOTE(eddmecha @ Jun 17 2016, 05:55 PM) its not bad, but its already one generation behind since no speaker... plus only expected to reach Malaysia sep/oct...can say gg to it. imo just stick to manufacturers that do google stuff... so asus / lg / huawei... and htc if they decide to join the android wear race. they all sure get advanced info on whats coming as is evident on their watches all with speakers months before the firmware was released. |

QUOTE(eddmecha @ Jun 19 2016, 12:38 AM) if not urgent better just wait til end of the yr when major guys all should be using proper smartphone processors instead of currently ancient handphone tech. so should be smaller and more efficient etc. |

QUOTE(danielstc @ Jun 27 2016, 11:39 AM) Anyone interested in Reversible + Modular watch band? wait, this has nothing to do with smart watch right. My friend just launch it in Kick Starter - Design in Malaysia, build and made in Malaysia by Malaysian. Not selling here but i thought some of you guys might be interested for this kind of watch Band - its in Kickstarter https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/steelc...h-band/comments its just a modular watch band? imo its kinda fugly...interesting concept but imo execution for this falls a little short...at least it has the price point going for it. also as a WIS i definitely will never use it. QUOTE(uncle08 @ Jun 27 2016, 04:10 PM) Guys, macam kena cheated. looking at the frequencies...both verizon and at&t dont support local 3g...no need to even say 4g.Is this http://www.11street.my/productdetail/lg-wa...dition-15540250 model W200V (Verison) or W200A (AT&T) ? AFAIK, the supplier told me cannot make calls out in Malaysia, then why to buy? Another on 11 street higher price $1699 http://www.11street.my/productdetail/lg-wa...dition-15540250 http://www.lg.com/us/smart-watches/lg-W200...ane-2nd-edition http://www.lg.com/us/smart-watches/lg-W200...2nd-edition-att Reason behind is our bandwidth something like that telco operator not support. Maybe bcos of the sim card slot design or what so ever. There are Verizon and AT&T and I suspect only AT&T with higher price can make calls? Correct me if I am wrong. I am damn wanna get crazy since after researched and find out not support in Malaysia to make calls out...Like that cannot receive the calls also... what for buying this rubbish with this kind of price range then? so in short, both also useless here. QUOTE(uncle08 @ Jun 27 2016, 03:45 PM) Some even say buy Tag Heuer https://www.engadget.com/2016/01/30/tag-heu...ected-review/#/ got more second hand value but functionality wise no heard rate and GPS. For what? the LG u are looking at also no GPS.heart rate sensor, most of them are quite useless really...especially if u are active. save money and just buy asus zenwatch 2. u can still make calls thru it when connected to ur phone as it has a mic and speaker. same with the huawei watch. QUOTE(uncle08 @ Jun 28 2016, 05:40 PM) Just research on it. There is Google with GPS and Heart Rate available in the device. See this: probably piggyback gps with phone. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kYyb5GTSndI it is well known among major guys that only 2 models got gps, sony sw3 and moto 360 sport. anyway if i wanted gps and hrm, i would get a proper fitness brand like Garmin Vivoactive hr or forerunner 235. i wouldn't trust any smartwatch to be that accurate or reliable for workouts. |

QUOTE(uncle08 @ Jun 29 2016, 12:59 AM) It seems like unlocked version LG G Watch W200 LTE 2nd edition supports only band: WCMDA 2100; LTE 1800 (B3)/2100(B1) it would help if u actually quote reply the proper post instead of simply hitting reply...and also if the links u posted actually worked. as what the box specification stated. After refer to https://www.frequencycheck.com/bands/lte-band-3-Â1800 and https://www.frequencycheck.com/bands/lte-band-1-Â2100 currently in Malaysia called UMobile operator CS said their LTE supports Band7(2600) Also checks https://www.frequencycheck.com/bands/lte-band-7-Â2600 Is that mean after I bought this unlocked watch even though without the model name with the "A" (AT&T) unlocked version which means W200, I still cannot use it to make calls or online with LTE? Do I still manage to use 3G to online since according to UMTS band below it supports 3G UMTS https://www.frequencycheck.com/bands/umts-Âhspa-band-1-2100 anyway, just use this site as easier to see. http://www.worldtimezone.com/gsm.html 2100 is what almost everyone uses for 3g anyway, so i dont see why it wont work. |

QUOTE(uncle08 @ Jun 29 2016, 01:39 AM) Frankly speaking, the device is only A-GPS not GPS as shown on GSMARENA.com well as i already said, piggyback back on phone which is what a-gps is... assisted gps. however, if want accurate device can probably always look for those model name added with "Sport" wording. Else, look for Garmin but you will be disappointed with the Garmin screen look as probably just black and white or little color on the screen. and im not sure why u are repeating what i said... but anyway im not really too bothered about Garmin lack of looks as first and foremost it is a fitness device...not a true smart watch since can only receive notifications. but buying smart watch like ppl already mentioned really no point spending alot since life span is like handphone... roughly 2yrs...then support for it becomes non-existent. i also dont like the term smart watch, more like handphone on wrist... |

QUOTE(uncle08 @ Jun 29 2016, 02:06 AM) I am lazy enough as I want to use my watch to make call and reply message while leaving my phone in car or at home when I go jogging or cycling. Also to calculate the steps I ran and heart bit rate no need to "ON" all the time as user will feel tired in the end due to sensor penetration into human body (hand/elbow's nerves). By enable two ways connected to server at the same time by two devices (mobile and smartwatch) I will still receive instant messages and incoming calls via respective sim without any skipping. Via Call Divert or Call forwarding feature from one sim to another sim. based on all that.-I love the LG Urbane W200 design and features because it is very mature and stylish...I don't like Garmin as it it too "serious" just for exercise used only. I don't like Apple watch as it is too cartoonish and I am not apple fans. -I don't like Moto 360 as well since it is round-circle-dial design and too small & tiny for me. -I don't like Samsung Gear S2 as well since same reason as above. (Only good match with Samsung phones.) -I don't like Asus ZenWatch even though it is the cheapest among but don't even have A-GPS i think or heart bit rate functionalities as complaints made by other forum users. I hate also the way it charge the Zenwatch via micro-USB instead of magnetic adapter. The screen is big design seems like worth-it-buy but unfortunately not fully displayed and little bit like China fake watch. Sry to say that... -I only like Huawei Watch with its black color bracelet very match with its round-circle-dial other than leather one but too pity that it has to be added another RM250 to top up to get the black stainless steel bracelet which is already over my budget around RM1795. Smartwatch not only need to be stylish but also its display need to be very beautiful , elegant , stylish and trendy. Functionalities wise very depends on individual preference. Most important thing must be COOL with the features you want it to be. Also what for ppl expecting the smartwatch to last forever since the technology changed from time to time. That time could be 5G or 6G with whatever functions provided to something new to them. Ppl wouldn't want to stick to old gadget unless affordable isn't it? Last for >5 years better buy something branded kinetic/battery watch. there is not a single smart watch right now that meets ur requirements. u do realise what A-GPS is right? means the watch gets the info from the phone, means they still need to be connected, means u cannot leave it in ur car or at home if u want to use the GPS for jogging or cycling. 5G is actually around already, i tried it while at manhattan few months ago. |

i tried the frontier when released, on my 6.5" wrist...its definitely too big.
the lugs float and overhang the side of my wrist...damn ugly. i think u would need at least a 7.5" wrist to pull it off and make it look normal. |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Dec 27 2016, 12:11 AM) This is the only one well worth the money. the carrera watch that can be traded in is worth usd1.5k.Cost USD 1500 for this AW smartwatch, after 2 years you can top up another USD 1500 and TagHeuer will replace it with a Carrera watch that cost at least USD 4500 I would definitely get it if I have that RM6K spare money. it's not some off the shelf model...but a specially developed model that is similar in design to the connected and not for general sale, but of cos auto version. so in short, once ur connected is obsolete, u can buy an auto that looks the same for usd1.5k. |

QUOTE(Someonesim @ Dec 27 2016, 12:00 PM) Good to know, lucky I dont have that kind of money because IMO it still the best looking Android Wear. At least it's still exclusive for Connected owner, so not sure if that Carrera's value will go up or down the size is too big for me. the auto carrera also is just some entry lvl model... only thing going for it is it's made of titanium... so could probably sell off for usd1.5k also cos I highly doubt it will increase in value... in the end u have what is essentially a usd3k titanium tag, but whose actual resale value is way lower. like that better not buy connected in the first place |

QUOTE(PeeEl @ Feb 13 2017, 03:36 PM) Based on your comments and your experience with more than one smart watch, can I consult you? is LTE really necessary? I am in the market for a smart watch and though I have read up a fair bit, I cannot find the answer to my queries. Currently I am using an iPhone 7Plus. However, the intention is to go back to an Android phone soon. And that's the reason I did not buy an Apple Watch yet though the urge is strong. My primary needs are, from the phone : 1 Calls 2 Messages 3 WhatsApp 4 WeChat 5 Golf Yardage 6 Built-in GPS 7 LTE Actually a built-in camera would be excellent but I know these days there aren't any with that. Which smart watch(s) is /are suitable which is/are also compatible with iPhones Your input is appreciated. and if just for receiving notifications, why not a garmin instead? |

QUOTE(PeeEl @ Feb 16 2017, 11:20 AM) It's a 'good to have' not a 'must have' as sometimes without the phone you could still use the functions. Does Garmin have the other relevant features of the other smart watches? of cos garmin has...either the S20 or S6.http://www.aeco.com.my/shop/category/Sport...eation/Golfing/ only thing obviously is u cannot reply to notifications...but garmin needless to say works better with GPS...plus the watch has pre-loaded maps etc...and way way way better battery life. |
