QUOTE(Ernest92 @ Jun 1 2015, 12:13 AM) Just got my zenwatch. The screen is a bit pixelated when view in near distance. Jz updated the firmware. 5.1 is nice jz mayb a bit slower than before. Overall zenwatch is good, but nice square watch face is very limited. Anyone here stil hav the link to download watch face for facer app? Add in another contender! The LG G Watch Urbane Gold colour And add in the Huawei Watch please. How could I forget about this. Looks nicer than the Moto 360 This post has been edited by -kytz-: Jun 1 2015, 03:57 AM |

Okay, which smartwatch has dedicated sleep tracking like those in fitness bands ?
Deciding between a fitness band or a smartwatch as some of the fitness bands come close to smartwatches in terms of price. |

QUOTE(xyz_cityhunter @ Jan 29 2016, 11:53 PM) Eyeing the Asus Vivo watch for the 24/7 heart rate monitor function, is there anyone here using that or is there any better option than this Vivo? The BEST heart rate monitoring watch is the Miio Alpha 2 watch. Can forget about anything else My senior colleague suggest this https://buy.garmin.com/en-US/US/prod545480.html but the price is too damn high... |

Any upcoming smartwatches that can make calls independent of the phone?
_____________________ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samsung_Gear_S3 According to this, the Gear S3 LTE isnt compatible with Malaysian telco? I hope the Galaxy Watch would be different.. ______________________ https://consumer.huawei.com/my/wearables/watch2/ Might go for the huawei watch 2 instead since it has a sim card slot This post has been edited by -kytz-: Aug 13 2018, 01:05 AM |

Still waiting to see if the Galaxy Watch would have LTE support from telcos here. Or whether the next Huawei Watch would have eSIM support as well

QUOTE(mastering89 @ Mar 14 2019, 12:40 AM) rm800 Hey you got the Galaxy Watch bluetooth version?Already got an answer for my Q above. Dropped by at Samsung SC. Samsung Galaxy Watch has already been registered by store when the buyer pickup s10+ preorder. device is registered by IMEI, not under any user account. so no issue claim by anyone. Anyhow, i tested tonight to connect BT headphone to Galaxy watch. Played music on Spotify (offline download), seems that eats battery alot. 30min music = 20% battery Just wanted to ask if it's paired with a smartphone via BT, can you answer/make calls directly on your watch? |

QUOTE(mhhee @ Apr 14 2019, 07:55 PM) No matter which countries version also can answer call. It's I'm not mistaken all galaxy gear series can answer. I got gear S3 & galaxy watch only. QUOTE(mastering89 @ Apr 14 2019, 08:06 PM) unfortunately i sold my 1 month old watch d Thanks bros go back to less smart watches my bro has the 46mm version, will ask him later to reconfirm *waasap down at the moment* Reason being the Galaxy Watch here doesn't have LTE support from our telcos that's why only the bluetooth version is being sold. So wanted to make sure the BT version can make/receive calls as well. Thanks again! |

QUOTE(wira1979 @ Apr 14 2019, 10:36 PM) I use the 42mm version. Confirm can ... look a bit silly talking to my watch though. I only use it to impress my nephews/nieces. Hows the battery life for your 42mm btw? I guess the 42mm suits smaller hands better..Here's my dilemma, I wanted to get a standalone smartwatch (that can make calls by itself) as a gift for my dad but the choices are so scarce. The only one I thought of was the Huawei Watch 2 which was supported by eSIM Maxis a while ago but there's non support now. Maxis and XOX eSIM only supports the iPhones for now... There are other older smartwatches like the Samsung Gear S3 or the LG Urbane but their battery life is horrible just like the Huawei Watch 2. Need something with at least 3-5 days battery life and the ability to make/receive calls. Have been looking around but couldn't find anything so have to resort to getting a smartwatch with bluetooth connection to the phone. From my experience with my own MiBand 3, Bluetooth 4.2 connection gets cut off easily when I'm only several metres away (with a door in between) even thought BT 4.2 is rated at 50m range. |

QUOTE(wira1979 @ Apr 15 2019, 10:45 AM) Take note that I'm a light user of the watch i.e. use it to notify me of who's calling, check my schedule, limited notifications and the occasional calculator/stopwatch. Thanks bro I don't receive e-mail or whatsapp notifications on the watch. Based on the above usage, the watch lasts me around 2 full days before I need to charge. You'd probably get double the life on the 46mm version. The 46mm does have a much bigger battery and so is the size. I remember one time trying out the 46mm and thought it's biggg |

The Amazfit verge is rated at ip68 but any user tried showering with it before? Most sites mention not to shower with it. Even the user manual mentioned this. I guess it's because of the other chemicals from the soap and shampoo?

QUOTE(qyuu02 @ Jun 13 2019, 05:07 PM) verge 2 anyone? said LTE 1 day battery only, no source saying about without LTE can last for how many days. QUOTE(stephenthk @ Jun 14 2019, 08:20 PM) Using my verge for 6 months plus and love it! Wait until local telcos announce support for the Verge 2 first..Verge 2 looked tempting, and i really hope the battery life is better than current Verge,if not on par.... Avenger edition oso not bad ya This post has been edited by -kytz-: Jun 16 2019, 12:02 PM |
